Kanye West totally dissed Kim Kardashian at the MTV VMAs Sunday evening. At least that’s what Celeb Dirty Laundry wants you to believe.
“Kanye West’s speech at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards is no doubt causing trouble for his Kim Kardashian marriage once again. Kanye West insulted his wife Kim Kardashian by giving his ex-girlfriend Amber Rose some love during his four-minute speech at the awards show on Sunday night.”
The article adds that even though West and Rose ended their romance several years ago, Kanye still has a soft spot for her. However, Gossip Cop reveals that the story is completely fabricated.

Gossip Cop can correct this claim,” says columnist Andrew Shuster, who adds that West gave a shout-out to several people from his past, but the gossip site took one name and ran with it in order to create a fake story.
Kanye West did give a very long speech, in which he touched on a lot of topics.
“I am Kanye West, and it feels very great to say, especially this year,” West told the cheering audience, before revealing that he was there to introduce his new video.
The audience knew they were in for a ride when West declared, “Before I do that. Imma talk,” while sternly looking at the audience.
Acknowledging that he doesn’t care if Beyonce beats him for Best Video since he loves her so much, West went into an explanation of his controversial “Famous” video. He defended himself by saying that he loves everybody and that’s the reason he called Taylor Swift for her approval of his video, which Swift falsely denied she was aware of.
The rest of the speech seemed to be more about himself than anything. He tried to bring up the topics of race, poverty, and violence, but didn’t seem to go anywhere and many people noticed how distracted he was.
Don Kaplan from the New York Daily News wrote a letter to Kanye West, explaining that his egotistical rants hurt his credibility as an artist.
“Dear Kanye West: The last time someone was as in love with themselves as much as you are, they had to get a room. But we get it, you make great music, you create art, expensive sneakers and T-shirts that cost as much a car payment. And that’s really good — for you.”

Kaplan, who is far from thrilled with Kanye’s video for “Famous,” adds that West might have well just used all that time to hug himself. In a nicer article about Kanye West from Entertainment Weekly, the commenters after the article are anything but nice.

Perhaps the response to his speech is exactly what Mr. West is looking for. It gains him headlines every time and no matter how many people hate him, he always gets deals from companies such Adidas. Fans can look forward to more music from Kanye West this fall, and his haters can look forward to more self-angronizing speeches. The reaction — good or bad — to everything Kanye West does shows he is still a force to be reckoned with.
