Katy Perry Engaged? Orlando Bloom Allegedly Proposed To Pop Star

Katy Perry is engaged to Orlando Bloom. The Pirates of the Caribbean star allegedly proposed to the pop star, while the two were on vacation, reported Ok!.

The two recently went on a romantic beach getaway with each other. While there are many photographs capturing the couple’s public displays of affection from their vacation, none of the tabloids got ahold of Bloom’s romantic proposal. Allegedly, Orlando Bloom popped the question to Katy Perry in private. Friends of the movie star told Ok! that he had spent $1.3 million on a wedding ring. The two have allegedly begun planning their ceremony. Orlando Bloom’s son, Flynn, will be the ring bearer at the couple’s wedding.

Katy Perry is engaged, apparently. While rumors continue to swirl about the ‘Firework’ singer’s romance, neither she nor Orlando Bloom has officially confirmed the news. Still, there has been a lot of gossip surrounding the Hollywood couple. It was recently reported by Ok! that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom were ready to take their relationship to the next level.

For quite some time, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship has been moving incredibly fast. Since the two initially met at the 2016 Golden Globes party, they have been spending a lot of time with each other. Not only have Bloom and Perry gone on vacation together, but the pop star has spent a lot of quality time with actor’s son.

Katy Perry being engaged wouldn’t necessarily be surprising news. Orlando Bloom is allegedly crazy about the singer. A source close to Bloom recently told People that he “always gushes about Katy and thinks she is amazing in a million ways.” The insider on the actor claims that he has been taking this relationship very seriously.

“He would love to settle down with Katy and have more kids. He hasn’t been this serious about a girl since Miranda.”

Katy Perry wasn’t engaged at the time People spoke to an Orlando Bloom insider. Still, the source close to Orlando Bloom told the publication that while they weren’t “engaged yet,” they “seem to be heading that way.”

While some rumors claim that Katy Perry is hearing wedding bells, others say that the pop star isn’t ready to walk down the aisle just yet. An insider from Perry’s circles recently said that the pop star didn’t want to take the leap. Before dating Bloom, the singer was both married and divorced.

“Katy’s divorce from Russell [Brand] really messed her up emotionally.”

While Katy Perry being engaged would be fantastic, that might not be the case just yet. The singer was married to comedian Russell Brand for about a year when he filed for divorce. This sudden and drastic move caught Katy Perry off guard and tore her apart. If anything, the pop star will take her time before she gets married again.

“She’s not going to rashly make a huge commitment like marriage again unless she thinks it’s absolutely right.”

Despite Katy Perry’s previous relationship drama, the singer is apparently crazy about Orlando Bloom. The Perry insider told People that the couple has been “getting along really well.” The source also added that “Katy gives him space” and they’re both are “pretty independent.”

Though Katy Perry is possibly engaged, it is a definite that the couple is crazy about one and other. The friend close to the pop star told People that “they are serious about each other and their relationship.”

Hopefully, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom will confirm whether or not they’re engaged soon. No matter what, it will probably happen eventually!
