Jenelle Evans Leaves VMAs After Walking Red Carpet: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star’s Boyfriend Denied Entry To Event
Jenelle Evans is making headlines once again. This time, she isn’t being talked about regarding her pregnancy announcement which is a nice change of pace. This weekend, MTV hosted the VMAs, and several of the stars from their shows walked the red carpet. Evans and David Eason walked the red carpet and debuted her baby bump. It was their first public appearance since the pregnancy was announced.
16 & Pregnant is where Jenelle Evans got her start, and it has been six years since her first episode aired on MTV. A lot has changed for her, both good and bad. All weekend long, she was preparing for the VMAs and walking the red carpet. According to Just Jared, Farrah Abraham and Kailyn Lowry walked the red carpet alongside their Teen Mom franchise co-star. Evans and her boyfriend, David Eason, had spent the entire weekend getting ready for the big event while sharing their journey on social media. When it came time to enter the event and get seated, things didn’t work out as the couple had hoped.
Reports indicate that Jenelle Evans and David Eason were denied entry to the VMAs. While it was confirmed that she did have a ticket for the event, he did not. The two tickets the couple had been carrying belonged to Evans and her mom Barbara. Over the weekend, Barbara had commented about how she was supposed to attend the event, but she was at home with Jace instead. Last year, she walked the red carpet with Jenelle. After being denied access, Evans tried to claim that Eason was someone from her team, but he was still not allowed to enter.
It seems that Jenelle Evans denies that they were turned away at the door. She could have gone in and enjoyed the show but instead chose to leave with David Eason. This event wasn’t open to all of the MTV stars, and if she wanted Eason to be her date, prior arrangements should have been made. Evans has been trolled on social media since the story got out about why they didn’t stick around for the show. She will lead you to believe that she was fine with what went down because she ended up having dinner with someone who plans to help her out. It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out, especially since there have been some accusations that the guy she met with isn’t who he says he is.
There was reportedly a photo circulating of Jenelle Evans giving MTV the middle finger after David Eason was denied access to the show. There have been a lot of accusations thrown out there about contracts and her responsibilities with talk about actually suing someone over a contract. Evans denies that she meant MTV, but it would appear that is the only network she works with. The story always changes when it is run through social media, but eventually the truth will be revealed.
Filming for Teen Mom 2 is currently happening now. Jenelle Evans is going to share how she found out she was pregnant on the upcoming season. There will be a lot more of David Eason on the show as well. Now that she is expecting her third child, she will be working extra hard to remain relevant so that she doesn’t have to go out into the real world and work. A lot is going on behind the scenes, and fans are interested to see just how well the two are doing navigating this pregnancy. After spending a weekend getting ready for the VMAs, it was a wasted effort for Jenelle Evans and David Eason.
