The Olympic gold medalists known as the Final Five had the time of their lives on Sunday night at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards. Aly Raisman, Simone Biles, Laurie Hernandez, and Madison Kocian traded their leotards for some gorgeous dresses as they walked the infamous white carpet together and dazzled everyone they came in contact with.
Unfortunately, the Final Five became a foursome as Gabby Douglas had just gotten out of the hospital after suffering from an infection that resulted from a previous injury to her mouth, as reported by USA Today. Gabby had sent out a message to her girls on Twitter stating that she was sorry that she couldn’t be there with them. It was unfortunate as her teammates certainly looked like they had an awesome time rubbing elbows with some high-profile celebrities.
The Final Five ladies showed up to the VMAs wearing gorgeous dresses that made them dazzle on the white carpet. Each of them had on a different color, but they all four sparkled in their own special way.
Simone Biles sure looked different with her hair down and wearing that sleeveless coral outfit by prom dress designer, Sherri Hill. However, this may have been much sweeter than a regular prom because Biles got to meet Kim Kardashian. She had mentioned earlier that she wanted to meet the reality star most of all, and her wish came true. Her selfie says it all.
Aly Raisman tweeted that she was wearing a dress by Miss Hayley Paige. The outfit consisted of a short cream-colored sheer design that was low-cut in the front and a cut-out in the back that showed off just enough skin to make this an amazing look on her. It looks like one of the highlights of Aly’s night was when she got a little help from some famous friends. The friends that she was referring to were John Legend and his wife, Chrissy Teigen. Oh, and also baby Luna got in on the action as Aly posted a photo of her holding the famous baby.

The one highlight of the night for the Final Five may have been when they got the chance to present the award for Best Female Video to Beyoncé. Laurie Hernandez proved that this was one fan-girl moment that she will never forget. After she got a hug from the “Lemonade” singer, the excitement on her face was seen by the world.

Laurie was decked out in a royal blue and white dress that was most fitting for a 16-year-old Olympian who is now considered a celebrity herself, along with the rest of the final five girls. Meeting Beyoncé was one of the highlights of her night, but she was also very excited to meet Kanye West, as mentioned by EW. Yes, this girl loves the rapper as she humorously mentioned just how much.
“I love Kanye more than Kanye loves Kanye.”
Madison Kocian also dazzled in a pretty green sleeveless dress with plenty of sparkles to go around. It looks like this Olympian didn’t get the chance to meet one of her favorite musicians as she had sent out a tweet to country superstar, Carrie Underwood, hoping that she would be at the VMAs. However, that didn’t happen, but maybe she will be invited to the CMA Awards in November as Carrie will definitely be on hand as she is hosting the event.

Look for Madison to also be throwing out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers game coming up on September 3. This is just one of many invites that Madison and the rest of the Final Five will get in the near future. These girls have all stolen the hearts of everyone since Rio, and they certainly have a bright future ahead of them.
