‘Days Of Our Lives’: Kate Thinks Andre DiMera Is Misunderstood – Lauren Koslow And Thaao Penghlis Talk ‘DOOL’ [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives fans are surprised to find Kate Roberts and Andre DiMera working together. What is in store for these two soap opera characters? Recently, Lauren Koslow and Thaao Penghlis spoke about the long-running series, what draws Kate and Andre together, and more.

A few weeks ago, Kate Roberts and Andre DiMera decided to work together. Even though they are both capable of doing bad things, Andre is considered a villain. Kate, on the other hand, is someone that just doesn’t realize there are better ways to handle things. This is especially true when she has been hurt or betrayed. Are they going to have more scenes together? Is something more going to come out of their partnership?

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Lauren Koslow and Thaao Penghlis talked about their Days Of Our Lives characters. The actress said Kate might believe that Andre is misunderstood.

“I could be wrong about this, but I feel that, like Kate, Andre is a bit misunderstood. Maybe people judged him, and perhaps part of that judgment caused him to act out in certain ways that he wouldn’t have done, if not for that. That’s similar to Kate. They’re both outsiders.”

Thaoo Penghlis also responded to the question of what brings Kate and Andre together.

“Kate isn’t afraid of Andre. Some people would be afraid of him because he’s so Machiavellian. There is insight that Kate has into Andre.”

When the Days Of Our Lives characters were asked about the future of Kate and Andre, neither could say. Some fans believe that they might end up having a romantic relationship. However, Koslow feels that the unique friendship between the two characters is too healthy and real to develop into romance. She also added that if Kate and Andre do get together, that will be up to the writers.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr,Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Kate is in danger. Clyde Weston (James Read) breaks out of prison and heads back to Salem. In a preview clip for the new season, Clyde points a gun at her. He is seeking revenge against Kate, Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove), and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). The magazine also revealed that Clyde wants to take Thomas and give him to Ben.

As for Andre on Days Of Our Lives, spoilers tease that the war between the DiMera and Kiriakis families is going to start up again. However, there is a twist. Things get a bit complicated when Eduardo (A. Martinez) and his son, Dario, decide to start their own company.

Other Days Of Our Lives spoilers come from She Knows. The publication stated that Clyde will break out of prison with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), who tries to strangle Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) on her wedding day. Orpheus (George DelHoyo) also returns to Salem. He realizes that the best way to get back at John Black (Drake Hogesyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is by victimizing their loved ones. The entire town of Salem is going to have to unite in order to survive the triple threat that is coming to them.
