The Laptop Case Against Crime does exactly what it’s meant to do, it helps protect your laptop from thieves by disguising your laptop so prying eyes don’t spot it in the open.

The case works by cloaking itself as a newspaper, which then allows users to slide their laptop into the protective casing. Criminals simply pass by your “newspaper” in search of their next target.

The case actually looks pretty convincing, featuring a plastic fabric build factor and a ziplock fastener to securely store and properly protect your laptop. It also features a carry chain which is removable so you can keep the illusion alive.

I’m not really sure how well it works and at a cost of $86 I’m not willing to find out.
