‘Divergent’ Star Shailene Woodley Famous As Bisexual?

Days after Bella Throne came out as a bisexual — all thanks to Kristen Stewart, it is now being reported that Divergent movie star, Shailene Woodley, may also be a famous bisexual in the entertainment industry.

In a recent article of popular quotes by famous bisexual celebrities, International Business Times has listed a number of stars including Lady Gaga, Amber Rose, Drew Barrymore, Ingrid Nilsen, and others along with their perspective on homosexuality.

In the published article, Woodley has been quoted from her earlier interview with The Hollywood Reporter, in which she talked about her sexuality.

“I fall in love with human beings based on who they are, not based on what they do or what sex they are.”

Well, Woodley has never officially talked about her sexual preferences. But this is not for the first time when she has been categorized as such.

In the past, OK! Magazine reported that Woodley and Ellen Page are dating. The publication stated that the duo have been friends for a long time and now their friendship has reached a new level.

Along with Juno movie star Page, Woodley’s name was also linked with Emma Stone. According to Movie News Guide, Hypster Guru allegedly claimed that after meeting Woodley, Stone has finally realized that she is the one for her.

“Emma Stone has been extremely guarded, but when she met Shailene Woodley she was finally able to let go of the past and give love another try. Turns out the risk was worth the reward because Emma has been overheard saying this is the real thing.”

However, Gossip Cop debunked OK! Magazine’s claim and from a source close to the actress they reported that the news published by the magazine is not true.

In other news, it is also being reported that the final film in the Divergent series will get a television release. Reportedly, Woodley and her co-star, Theo James, will drop out if it won’t make it in theaters. Miles Teller, who plays the character Peter in the Divergent series, stated in his interview with The Hollywood Reporter that the entire cast is hoping that the film will get a theatrical release.

Apart from the possibility of being released as a TV movie, it is also being speculated that there will be few spinoff movies in the near future.

Variety further reported that the studio is indeed planning a TV movie as well as a series with 10 episodes for its first season. TV Group Chairman Kevin Beggs stated that the reason behind making a TV series is because the story has a tremendous fan following.

“We got excited about the possibility of what the series could look like — resolving the novel in a season across 10 to 13 episodes and then expanding from there into multiple seasons. This is an example of what we call the virtuous cycle of content bouncing back and forth from TV and film. The economic upside on a long term series franchise is very substantial.”

At this moment, it is not yet decided when Lionsgate will approach networks for the Divergent TV series.

In professional endeavors, Woodley is set to portray the role of Lindsay Mills in Oliver Stone’s upcoming biographical thriller film, Snowden, in which she will be sharing the screen space with Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Apart from this, she will also star as Jane Chapman in HBO’s upcoming comedy series, Big Little Lies, in which she will feature along with an ensemble cast of Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, James Tupper, Kathryn Newton, Adam Scott, Larry Sullivan, and David Monahan.
