‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6: Captain Nemo Cast — ‘OUAT’ Character Tied With Hook’s Past [Spoilers]

Once Upon A Time has cast a lot of characters for Season 6. It turns out there is another person coming to the fairy tale drama. Captain Nemo will arrive and it turns out that he has ties with Hook’s past.

OUAT spoilers are ahead. If you don’t want to know what to expect in Season 6, then stop reading.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, some things from Hook’s (Colin O’Donoghue) past are going to come out. Once Upon A Time fans are wondering what has been kept hidden for so long. What part of Hook’s life will it affect and how will the Storybrooke resident deal with it?

Entertainment Weekly reported that a man is tied to Hook’s past. That man is Captain Nemo from 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. Faran Tahir has been cast to play the role. If the actor looks familiar, it is because he was in Dallas and Warehouse 13. Executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis spoke about the new character.

“We’re thrilled to give a Once Upon a Time spin to the classic character of Captain Nemo from one of our favorite Disney films, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. We’re excited to see his mythology merge with Storybrooke’s own captain — Hook. If for no other reason than to see the Jolly Roger go up against a submarine.”

Entertainment Weekly gave a summary of Captain Nemo.

“… the hardened leader of the Nautilus submarine, who’s a zealous believer in a cause that takes him from 20,000 leagues under the sea to the destiny that he won’t let anyone prevent him from achieving.”

Faran Tahir joins a long list of new and returning characters. So far, Once Upon A Time Season 6 will welcome Deniz Akdeniz as Aladdin, Karen David as Jasmine, and Oded Fehr as Jafar. Giles Matthey will portray Morpheus, the Greek god of dreams, and Craig Horner will play the Count of Monte Cristo. Those that are returning include Jessy Schram as Cinderella, Raphael Sbarge as Dr. Archie Hopper, Agnes Bruckner as Lily, and Kristin Bauer van Straten as Maleficent.

Once Upon A Time Season 6 will not just focus on one story, but several. At Comic-Con 2016, it was revealed that one of those has to do with if you can separate a part of yourself. If so, should it be done or not? In addition to those questions, Regina (Lana Parrilla) will be trying to control the Evil Queen, Hook and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) continue their relationship, and Henry (Jared Gilmore) will try to help the characters from the Land Of Untold Stories.

Recently, a major OUAT spoiler for Season 6 was released by Zap2It. It turns out that many years ago, the Evil Queen lay the foundations of a plan. In present-day Storybrooke, that plan is going to be realized. Once Upon A Time fans are not sure what it is, but it has something to do with Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming’s (Josh Dallas) past. What could it be and will Snow and Charming be dealing with consequences from a decision made a long time ago?

Also, Emma will learn a secret about herself in Season 6. It could end up having devastating consequences for those she cares about. However, Aladdin will be helping her through this. Does it have something to do with them both being Saviors?
