‘Big Brother 18’ Spoilers: New HOH Nominations, ‘BB18’ House Courts Drama As Care Package Delivered

Big Brother 18 spoilers now include the August 26 HOH nominations. The BB18 house has a new person in charge and they were tasked with nominating two people for eviction on Friday afternoon. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Nicole Franzel is the new HOH after winning the latest endurance competition. Pleading with James Huling to let her win so she that could get a letter from her mom ended up working, as he dropped out on purpose and let her take over the power in the house.

A report from Joker’s Updates on Friday revealed just how adamant Nicole was about not putting James on the chopping block. Not only did Nicole promise him safety, but she wanted to keep the two showmances working together for at least another week in the BB18 house. When Natalie Negrotti was HOH and James was the swing vote, the couple protected Corey Brooks and Nicole from getting evicted. This led to Nicole telling Corey that she didn’t want to put up James under any circumstances.

Before the Week 10 nominations could be made, the BB18 houseguests had to go to the backyard to see who America had chosen for the latest Care Package. As seen on the CBS live feeds, America chose Corey Brooks to win the Care Package. This will be the least surprising facet of any Big Brother 18 spoilers this week, as the choices for fans to pick from were quite limited. Any houseguest who had won a Care Package in the past was ineligible for this vote. It meant that James Huling, Nicole Franzel, Michelle Meyer, and Natalie Negrotti could not receive it.

The Week 10 Care Package didn’t come with the power to become a co-HOH or discount the votes of other houseguests. Corey has been given $5,000 to bribe another houseguest to do one thing. The terms are very loose, meaning it could be as simple as convincing Nicole that she should not nominate him for eviction. This particular Care Package seems more like a reward geared toward creating footage for a future episode, rather than something that will directly affect who wins the $500,000 for summer 2016.

So what happens next? Corey Brooks is in a position to change the game, which could have been more interesting if someone like Victor Arroyo or Paul Abrahamian had won the Head of Household competition. There are going to be more Big Brother 18 spoilers about what Corey decides to do with his bribe, especially with the attached rule that if someone accepts the $5,000 that they are required to go through with the agreement. Could it be used to affect how the voting plays out at the eviction ceremony taking place next week? Or will it fizzle like the Return Ticket twist?

So who are the Week 10 HOH Nominations from Nicole Franzel? Nicole wants Michelle Meyer to get evicted and has worked out a plan with Paul Abrahamian to make sure it happens. Paul is going on the block as a pawn, something he has agreed to do because he feels that they have the votes to keep him in the BB18 house. As has been the case in the past, though, pawns tend to go home in this game. With Michelle and Paul on the block, James Huling or Natalie Negrotti just need to win the Veto to confirm their own safety.

Moving forward, it appears that there could be three duos left in the BB18 house following the next eviction. That could provide some very interesting episodes and live feed footage to the fans, but plans do tend to shift on this show. If Michelle can find a way to win the Veto and save herself, the next round of Big Brother 18 spoilers will discuss how Nicole Franzel and Corey Brooks have to officially pick a side for the first time this summer.
