Brandi Glanville Says ‘RHONY’ Finale Reminded Her Of Eddie Cibrian’s Cheating

Brandi Glanville hasn’t been on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for over a year, but it sounds like she’s enjoying her time away from the spotlight. Since leaving the show, Glanville has been focusing on her business ventures, including her popular podcast and her line of wines. But fans of the show have missed her and many are hoping that she will return, as she was one of the only wives on the show willing to say whatever was on her mind. But just because Brandi isn’t on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills doesn’t mean she isn’t keeping up with the other wives in other cities.

According to a new tweet, Brandi Glanville watched the finale of The Real Housewives of New York this week along with millions of viewers. And it sounds like she was surprised to see how Luann de Lesseps was willing to forgive Thomas D’Agostino for his cheating. And many people argued that they wanted a friend like Bethenny Frankel to tell them if their spouses were cheating on them. As for Brandi, the entire cheating scandal in the public eye reminded her of her own failed marriage.

“Sex lies & videotape didn’t just apply 2 the 1989 movie with James Spader & demise of my marriage but it’s also the RHONY Finale cliffhanger,” Brandi Glanville joked on Twitter as she was watching the season finale.

Glanville had no idea that her husband was cheating on her until a magazine cover revealed that he was having an affair with LeAnn Rimes. Brandi was shocked to see the pictures that the paparazzi had taken of them together, and she was completely devastated. Seeing the picture of Thomas kissing another woman may have reminded her of the time that Brandi Glanville saw the pictures of her husband kissing another woman. But unlike Brandi, Luann decided to forgive Thomas for his infidelity.

“We all make mistakes, and some we make in private and others we make for the world to see. After I found out about what Tom had done, I had to dig deep within myself to find the love to forgive, but I did. I forgave him shortly after reuniting back in New York. Was it easy? No way. Am I glad I did? Absolutely. We are still engaged and are finalizing our New Year’s Eve wedding plans. He’s a good man and we love each other. We will stand the test of time regardless of what those women try to do to ruin our happiness,” Luann revealed about Thomas’ cheating, according to Bravo.

Glanville has revealed that people knew about the affair and didn’t tell her about it. In fact, one of her closest friends knew about the affair and lied to her for a long time. Bethenny Frankel truly struggled with whether to tell Luann about the affair and one can imagine that Brandi Glanville wanted someone to tell her so she didn’t have to find out in the tabloids. Frankel has received criticism for the way it was handled.

“This is the age old question that everyone says yes to, yet so many don’t know if they mean it,” Bethenny wrote on her own blog for the show, according to Bravo. “The ones who bear the burden of deciding if you really mean it are the friends. This week I embark on the multi-episode journey of deciding if, how and when to tell Luann details that could affect her marriage but definitely will affect her relationship.”
