Jennifer Lopez Unbothered By Casper Smart Split As Career Continues To Skyrocket

Jennifer Lopez is keeping herself busy after having made the decision to officially call it quits with ex-boyfriend Casper Smart, 29.

The “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” singer was furious when Casper bailed on the charity event she planned to attend with him in the Hamptons, TMZ confirms. A lot of credible people happened to be there, and according to sources, Jennifer felt it was only right to have her man accompany her.

Smart declined, leaving Lopez so mad that she didn’t even hesitate to dump the famous choreographer right then and there. The 47-year-old stressed that the event was very important for her, and Casper reportedly knew this, so the fact that he would bail on her seemed very disrespectful.

It more or less seems as if this incident was just one of many that ended up resulting in Jennifer calling it quits with her former flame. And now that she’s single again, Hollywood Life reveals that the former American Idol judge isn’t dwelling on her collapsed relationship — she’s too busy to be sitting at home and crying over how the romance didn’t work out.

A source explained, “She’s been reluctant to move on so quickly and is focusing her energy on work and exercise,” adding that her hectic work schedule is keeping Jennifer Lopez on her toes at all times.

The relationship with Casper may have ended, but her career continues to skyrocket, and that’s really where her main focus is right now.

“JLo wants her body to look better than ever now that she is single again. She is after that revenge body but she won’t have to work too hard to get it since she is pretty much there already.”

The mother-of-two was overjoyed to learn that NBC had picked up Shades of Blue for a second series earlier this summer. Jennifer not only produces the show but also stars in it alongside Goodfellas film icon Ray Liotta.

And if that wasn’t good enough, Lopez is also said to be negotiating a new contract that will see her extend her Las Vegas residency throughout 2017, all while she begins work on her new album, having recently inked a record deal with Epic Records.

There are so many things that Jennifer is looking forward to that focusing her attention on a breakup isn’t even close to what’s been crossing her mind. An insider adds that the singer is moving forward, and this time it’s for real, having gotten back with Casper in the past, Jennifer really wants to settle down with the next man she falls in love with.

Her best pal Leah Remini is allegedly playing matchmaker for Lopez, with a source revealing, “Leah Remini knows Jennifer has a soft spot for dancers, so Leah has been trying to get JLo to date one of the many professional dancers she met from her time on DWTS.”

Let it be known that while Jennifer Lopez is more than willing to go on dates with other men, her main focus this year is to maintain the success of her career, which is undoubtedly hitting an all-time high right now.

She’s certainly not rushing into anything new, but if a date progresses into a full-blown relationship, then so be it. But it has to happen naturally because forcing it will just set J. Lo up for failure.
