‘Teen Mom 2’ Jenelle Evans Is Pregnant, Is She Going To Marry David Eason?

Jenelle Evans and her boyfriend, David Eason, are expecting their first child together.

Although the Teen Mom 2 star denied she was expecting just a couple of months ago, she revealed on Instagram earlier this week that she and Eason would be welcoming a baby girl in January of next year and now, fans are wondering if she will soon become engaged.

On August 25, the International Business Times teased a headline regarding Jenelle Evans’ potentially upcoming wedding. However, in the same report, it was noted that Evans and Eason don’t appear to be engaged quite yet.

“Despite the pregnancy announcement, it looks Evans and Eason aren’t tying the knot any time soon. When rumors of Evans expecting her third child came out in May, the reality star denied that she’s pregnant and engaged,” the outlet explained.

In May, Jenelle Evans responded to an alleged baby bump photo on Twitter, telling fans, “I’m happy where I am in life and comfortable so I’ve been eating a lot more lol.”

Jenelle Evans began dating Eason last fall, and by this past spring, the two conceived a child. However, for whatever reason, the Teen Mom 2 star chose to keep her pregnancy a secret up until Wednesday, when she took to her Instagram account to reveal she and Eason were having a baby girl.

“Time to introduce the world to our baby girl soon, Ensley Jolie Eason. She will be arriving Jan. 28th. We couldn’t be any happier!” Jenelle Evans told fans on Instagram along with a photo of herself and Eason standing in the water.

In the photo, Jenelle Evans’ baby bump was on full display as her boyfriend sat in front of her with his hands at each of her sides.

At the same time Jenelle Evans posted her photo, Eason posted a picture of his own, with the caption, “IT’S A GIRL YALL!! I’m so happy im bout ta cry!! I love you so much @j_evans1219 and I cant wait to meet our baby girl Ensley Jolie Eason!!”

In Eason’s post, he was seen sitting behind Jenelle Evans with his arms wrapped around her belly.

Jenelle Evans is currently mom to two boys, Jace, 7, and Kaiser, 2, but only has custody of her youngest son. In 2009, shortly after Jace’s birth, Barbara Evans, Jenelle’s mom, took custody of the boy due to Evans’ inability to raise him herself. Then, after struggling with an addiction to heroin years later, she got clean and began dating Nathan Griffith, who eventually fathered her second son.

For the past couple of years, Jenelle Evans has frequently spoke of regaining custody of Jace, but so far, she has yet to do so. Instead, she spends time with him on weekends and when he isn’t in school.

In March, Jenelle Evans opened up about her ongoing issues with her mother, claiming that when it comes to contacting each other, they do their best to steer clear of custody conversations because they often lead to a fight.

“We really don’t talk other than if it’s about Jace, because if we are around each other too much we start arguing,” Jenelle Evans explained to People Magazine.

Jenelle Evans and her family, including boyfriend David Eason, are currently filming the continuation of Teen Mom 2 Season 7 and are expected to return to MTV at some point later this year or early next year. A premiere date has not yet been announced.
