Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Will Debut A New Love Song At Their Wedding [Report]

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are reportedly planning to tie the knot, and when they do, a source claims a new love song will be debuted.

Following the release of “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” earlier this year, a report claims Gwen Stefani and her alleged soon-to-be-husband are preparing for another duet.

“[Gwen Stefani] and Blake are always discussing what their wedding will be like. Kingston, Zuma and Apollo will all play big roles of course,” an insider told Hollywood Life on August 25. “In addition to writing their own vows, Gwen and Blake have been working on a love song that they plan on singing on their special day.”

When Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton began dating last November, they co-wrote a song together, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” and performed the song for the very first time during The Voice Season 10. Although Gwen Stefani wasn’t featured in a full-time role on the series’ 10th season, she did appear briefly as a mentor and reunited with her boyfriend for their performance later in the season.

Throughout their months-long romance, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have continued to face rumors of an engagement and impending marriage, the latest of which claims they will be tying the knot around Christmastime at Shelton’s home in Oklahoma.

“They’re planning a December wedding at Blake’s ranch in Oklahoma,” a source told Life & Style, via the Hollywood Life report. “[Gwen Stefani] and the boys love it there and it will give them a lot of privacy.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have spent a lot of time together at his ranch and earlier this month, in the midst of her “This is What the Truth Feels Like Tour,” a number of members of her tour crew stopped by as well.

In recent weeks, Shelton has spoken out frequently about Gwen Stefani and her songs, revealing that he is still in shock over their fairytale romance and her songs about him on her This is What the Truth Feels Like album.

“It’s still hard for me to wrap my head around Gwen Stefani having written songs she says, I know, are about us and me,” Shelton explained during a recent interview, via a report by The Spec on August 24. “I caught a bunch of her shows out on tour and it’s weird to hear her say, ‘This next song I’m gonna do is about a cowboy.’ I’m like, ‘What? I can’t believe that.’ So crazy.”

As for his own new songs, which were released earlier this year on his If I’m Honest album, Shelton said that he also wrote about his personal life and relationship with Gwen Stefani.

“You got to pull from your real-life experiences… It’s an outlet for me, helping me through a rough time and now it’s creating a good time for me,” Shelton told Extra TV, admitting, “I don’t think I set out to have so many songs about [Gwen Stefani] on the record; I just wanted to sing about things I was feeling and thinking about at that moment.”

As he prepares to go on tour later this year, Shelton said he hoped his girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, would make a few guest appearances.

“I hope so. I know that if [Gwen Stefani] comes out to one of my shows, she’s done it once before, I think she’d be open to doing it again… I’m not too proud to beg,” he said.
