‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Season 9: NeNe Leakes Exposes Filming Feud, While Kenya Moore Faces Financial Crisis

The casting drama continues to unfold for Season 9 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

While rumors continue to mount about NeNe Leakes return to the show, the former reality star isn’t afraid to fight for a new contract.

According to OK Magazine, Leakes is currently in talks with producers about a possible return next season. The parties have not reached an agreement, but that hasn’t stopped Leakes from sticking to her demands.

“NeNe is not dumb. She does exactly what needs to be done on RHOA,” an insider told the outlet. “She is not afraid to fight with anyone and her take on every story is what the fans want.”

Leakes also understands that returning to the show would increase ratings.

“No one cares about the random ladies on the show. NeNe is the one they tune in to watch… So she will be back, earning the big bucks and laughing all the way to the bank.”

Leakes has yet to announce her return to RHOA officially and whether or not she even wants to be back.

She did, however, have a short cameo last season, so it is clear that Leakes hasn’t completely cut ties with the hit reality series.

Meanwhile, RHOA star Kenya Moore continues to struggle financially.

According to OK Magazine, Johnny on the Spot, a portable restroom company, filed a lien against Moore for failing to pay for services.

Court records show that Moore owes the company $298.79 for providing services at her estate.

That being said, Moore has since paid the bill, and the lien was subsequently canceled.

The financial woes aren’t the only problems Moore has encountered this summer. The reality star also faced a public fallout with boyfriend Matt Jordan.

Enstarz is reporting that Moore and Jordan had their latest falling out after she canceled his plane ride to Charlotte, North Carolina. The couple was supposed to fly together and attend the opening of Peter Thomas’ new restaurant, Bar One Lounge.

“This is the [stuff] that I’m talking about,” Jordan admitted. “This is the stuff that you guys will say ‘Oh you shouldn’t drag her online, you shouldn’t bash her.’ I just got done running through a terminal to catch a flight… and guess who cancelled my ticket? Kenya Moore. Ugh… I’m tired of this… I’m tired.”

At the same time, Bravo has yet to announce that Moore will be a part of Season 9 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta.

In fact, producers might be planning a major shakeup for the upcoming season and a few of the ladies might find themselves without a job when filming starts this fall.

Part of the shakeup, according to Enstarz, is because fans are not happy with how things are playing out on the reality series.

Some fans even took to social media to express their disappointment with the new web series that features younger women in the spotlight.

In one of the videos, Sheree Whitfield and Marlo Hampton get into a loud screaming match, which fans didn’t appreciate.

“Well since they act like children, I guess it’s okay for children to mock or imitate them,” one fan shared. “This is what happens when grownups act their shoe sides? [sic]”

“Poor kids! I feel so bad for them… Being trained at such age to become drama queens,” another added.

A few fans even criticized Bravo for putting kids on reality TV.

“Bravo will exploit anything… why include children in this nonsense… who are their money hungry parents?” one fan stated.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to return for Season 9 sometime next year.
