Ramona Singer Slams Luann de Lesseps After ‘RHONY’ Finale Airs

Ramona Singer may not be as judgmental as she once was when it came to cheating, but she still has a firm opinion on the subject. For years, while filming The Real Housewives of New York, Ramona kept saying that she had never done anything wrong in her marriage, and cheating would never be an issue. And yet, Singer kept reminding Luann de Lesseps about her husband cheating on her and how they were now in an open marriage.

But just a few years ago, Ramona’s then-husband, Mario Singer, was caught cheating with a much younger woman. These days, Singer is trying to make Luann understand that no one should be treated like Luann was treated when she learned that Thomas D’Agostino had been cheating on her.

According to a new tweet, Ramona Singer watched the Real Housewives of New York finale last night, where de Lesseps confronted Thomas about his cheating ways. Sadly, she never really focused on the betrayal of Thomas’ cheating, but she was upset about the finger pointing. de Lesseps was angry that people would find out about the cheating, but she was less concerned about her future husband’s behavior. Instead, she kept focusing on Bethenny Frankel’s delivery of the news because she was the one who shared it with her. And Ramona thinks that Luann is in denial about what happened.

“Really Luanne, Bethenny wanted to make sure she had all the facts before she told you about the make out session,” Ramona Singer tweeted last night as the finale aired on Bravo.

“Luanne is just stupid. She’s like an alcoholic who makes excuses. So much denial,” one fan wrote to Singer, while another added, “Luann is nasty and only thinks of herself. Selfish…#RHONY.”

Over the past couple of months, Luann has been bragging about her relationship to the world. It’s clear that she was quick to forgive Thomas for cheating on her. Ramona Singer was shocked that she would be so blind to his behavior after he lied about other things. He downplayed the relationship he had with Singer, and he denied having a sexual relationship with Sonja Morgan for 10 years. Instead, she keeps saying that they are happy.

“Finally #finale! Remember it was 6 months ago, Tom & I truly love each other. We worked it through and are stronger than ever! #LoveWins xo,” de Lesseps tweeted as the episode aired last night. In response, people had some interesting reactions, including, “am I alone here that your FIANCE should not WANT to be making out with anyone else? A major slap in the face!”

In the finale, Bethenny revealed that she was shocked that she focused on who knew about the betrayal and not about the betrayal itself. And in her own blog for the show, Luann revealed that she felt completely set up. It sounds like she doesn’t want this fairy tale to end, no matter what it takes to keep it together.

“Obviously the person taking the photograph had an agenda and was all too happy to share that information with my “buddy” Bethenny. Her motivations are questionable to me at this point. Was I hurt when I found out that she had a photo of Tom and a girl at the Regency? Yes I was. I was devastated to the point of not knowing what to do next,” Luann wrote in her blog for Bravo, sharing that she felt that she was completely set up, adding, “I was blindsided when Bethenny shared with me what her friend saw at the Regency, and I asked the crew to stop filming me so I could process in private. My reaction was honest, and I was in pain.”
