Kanye West Wants Kim Kardashian To Quit ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Amid Cancellation Rumors

Kim Kardashian is allegedly being urged by husband Kanye West to quit Keeping Up with the Kardashians amid reports that the long-running E! reality show is in danger of being canceled after Kim’s sisters Kylie Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian hinted at leaving.

According to recent reports, Kanye wants to see wife Kim pull the plug and quit the show before executives at E! decide to cancel Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which could be seriously embarrassing for the Kardashian and Jenner clan.

A new report by Hollywood Life is claiming that West sees the Kardashian family reality show, which has aired on E! since it first began back in 2007, as being a sinking ship and wants Kim to move on and focus on “bigger things” before it’s officially canceled.

“It’s understandable that he would want [Kim] to remove herself from the public eye a little bit,” Hollywood Life reported this week of West’s plans for Kardashian beyond Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

“Kanye also isn’t a fan of cameras consistently watching him and his family’s every move,” the Kim insider continued, “and he might want his kids to have a more normal childhood — if that’s even possible.”

Reports claiming that Kanye is allegedly urging Kim to say bye bye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians after 12 seasons come amid swirling rumors that Kim’s once-juggernaut reality show may not be doing as well as it once was.

Radar Online previously alleged that Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner has been doing all she can to save the reality series, and that includes encouraging son Rob Kardashian to end his rumored feud with sister Kylie Jenner over Blac Chyna “for the sake of the show.”

But as the Keeping Up with the Kardashians cancellation rumors continue to swirl, Gossip Cop is squashing the reports, claiming that the E! reality show is still very much on the air and rumors claiming it is in danger of being cancelled are “false.”

The site also claimed that the Kardashian reality series, which launched Kim and her family to superstardom, will also more than likely “be continuing for the foreseeable future” despite reports suggesting it’s been canceled.

But will the entire Kardashian family stick with the series until it does eventually end?

Amid reports suggesting that Kanye wants Kim to quit before the series is cancelled, Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner has also allegedly been hinting that she may be ready to say bye bye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians after 12 seasons.

Radar Online reported earlier this year that Jenner had threatened to quit Keeping Up with the Kardashians after it was revealed that Blac Chyna, who has a son with her boyfriend Tyga, could be appearing on the show alongside fiancé Rob Kardashian.

“Kylie is threatening to quit over this because she refuses to have to fake her feelings for Blac,” a Kardashian source admitted back in April. “Kylie cannot believe that Kris would even possibly consider this.”

Kylie, Kim’s youngest sister, also recently hinted at leaving the spotlight in an interview with Allure Magazine where she admitted that there may come a day when she quits fame altogether.

“I know I don’t want to be famous forever,” Kylie admitted. “There’s gonna be a time where I feel comfortable, I’m at a good place in my life, and I just stop.”

Kim and Kylie’s sister Kourtney Kardashian has also been vocal about Keeping Up with the Kardashians coming to an end in recent weeks, even claiming that she would be “so happy” if the series was cancelled.

Kardashian made the pretty surprising confession in an interview with You Magazine earlier this month, where Kim’s older sister admitted that if she found out Keeping Up with the Kardashians was canceled tomorrow, she’d more than likely move away and enjoy a life outside of the spotlight that follows Kim and the entire Kardashian clan.

“I don’t want the show to end,” Kourtney clarified, “but I sometimes think I would be so happy if it did, and I could just move away from it all. By the end of every season I’ve had enough, but then once we have had a break I’m ready for more.”

What do you think of reports suggesting that Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner have all considered quitting Keeping Up with the Kardashians?
