Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Are Engaged? Her Kids Are Reportedly On Board With Their Future Wedding

As Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton continue to flaunt their love from New York to Los Angeles to Oklahoma, rumors are swirling in regard to their possible upcoming wedding ceremony.

At this point, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton haven’t revealed any news of an engagement, but the rumors haven’t slowed down. In the latest report, it is noted that Stefani’s three sons — Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2 — are completely on board with the possibility of Shelton becoming their stepfather.

On August 23, the Hollywood Gossip revealed to readers that Gwen Stefani’s boys are “ready for mom to marry Blake Shelton” and said that when the 46-year-old singer does walk down the aisle, her sons with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, of the rock band Bush, will have huge roles in the ceremony.

“Apollo wants to be the ring bearer, and the two older boys will be junior groomsmen with Blake,” an insider explained to Life & Style this week. “Blake wants it to be really special, to show them coming together as a family.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been looking like a family since shortly after they began dating at the end of last year. In addition to tons of park visits in Los Angeles, the couple has enjoyed time with her sons at Shelton’s ranch and just last weekend, they were seen in Oklahoma with Stefani’s tour crew.

For the past several weeks, Gwen Stefani has been traveling the country on her “This is What the Truth Feels Like Tour,” which continues until October. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Shelton, has been equally as busy as he and his co-stars, including Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys, and Adam Levine, film the 11th season of The Voice.

During The Voice Season 9, when Gwen Stefani was appearing as a judge, she and Shelton struck up a friendship that ultimately turned romantic. When filming began last summer, Shelton had just split from former wife Miranda Lambert, and Stefani was fresh off a divorce from Gavin Rossdale. When it came to getting to know one another, they had a lot more in common than they did when filming was underway on The Voice Season 7.

Although Gwen Stefani did not appear as a coach on The Voice Season 10, she briefly appeared as a mentor and debuted her duet with Shelton, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” on the show.

Gwen Stefani has also been absent from The Voice Season 11 due to her ongoing tour.

Earlier this year, after rumors swirled claiming Gwen Stefani had turned down a proposal from Shelton, a source claimed she did so because she was unsure of how her children would feel. Although the kids appear to be quite taken by Shelton, the singer was said to be cautious about committing to a second marriage so soon after her first came to an end.

“[Gwen Stefani] definitely tells her kids what’s going on and runs things by them all the time,” a source told Hollywood Life in May. “She wants their wellbeing accounted for, and if and when she goes through another marriage, she wants the kids to be on board. They really like Blake, but she definitely wants to make sure they’re okay, since the divorce is still very fresh for the kids.”
