Jim Marchese Slams Bravo And Teresa Giudice After Return To ‘RHONJ’

Jim Marchese has been very vocal about his dislike for the Bravo network and Teresa Giudice. When he was filming The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s sixth season, he kept saying how he didn’t want to hang around Teresa and Joe Giudice, because he often worked with lawyers and worked in the mortgage industry. He essentially helped the District Attorney’s office catch people who tried to commit fraud with their mortgages, just like Joe was doing. Jim kept saying that he couldn’t hang around those kinds of people and he tried to distance himself from Teresa.

According to a new Radar Online report, Jim Marchese is now revealing that he’s very disappointed that Bravo decided to bring back Teresa Giudice, especially since she’s a convicted criminal. Even though many people would argue that she has served her time and needs a fresh start, Marchese believes that Bravo is glorifying a criminal by making the show all about Giudice’s legal problems. Marchese recently opened up to Radar Online about his feelings.

“They really crafted it to be a story around Teresa Giudice and we were really brought in for the purpose of being around that storyline,” Jim Marchese has revealed about his season on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, adding, “And so that was the direction, and for me, I didn’t know these people. I would have no reason to talk to them, to interact with them other than the fact that that was our job for the show.”

Jim Marchese has a theory that Bravo only asked him to film the show because of his experience in the mortgage industry. Of course, Amber was the one who was the official housewife, but he played a huge role on the show, as he was the supportive husband of a cancer survivor.

“I was done with the show when they decided to try to make a felon like Teresa Giudice a martyr,” Marchese reveals, adding, “That disgusted me and I was very public about that.”

Even though Jim was very vocal about walking away from The Real Housewives of New Jersey, his wife, Amber, was open to filming a second season of the show. But once they learned that the network would be waiting over a year until Teresa was released from prison, they felt that the show wasn’t about the wives – it was about Giudice.

“Amber was looking forward to possibly doing season two,” Marchese confessed about his wife, adding, “We obviously wanted her to be treated better, but we were told ‘yeah you take your knocks year one’ and there was a potential. But I told them with no uncertain terms I would not be back on the show if they were gonna glamorize Teresa. She’s a felon. She’s a criminal.”

Of course, Jim Marchese isn’t completely innocent himself. A few months ago, he was arrested on a flight with his wife, because people thought that he was being violent with her. His explanation was that they were trying to have sex and were being a little rough. Marchese was removed from the flight, and stories quickly surfaced that he was a violent person. According to Radar Online, Jim is now suing the airline for $100 million.

In addition, Jim Marchese and Amber decided to drop The Real Housewives of New Jersey and film Marriage Boot Camp instead. While Jim may be done with Teresa, he isn’t done with reality television. No word on what plans they have in the future.
