Amy Schumer Tells Beyonce This Event Will Be My Last, But Little Does She Know Of Beyonce’s Secret 

Amy Schumer told Howard Stern about meeting Beyonce Knowles at the Met Gala, but instead of gushing about a wonderful evening, Amy got really honest with the legendary star. Schumer wasn’t having a wonderful evening, according to the Daily Mail. There was no point in pretending.

“I got to meet Beyoncé and she was like, ‘Is this your first Met Gala?’ And I was like, ‘It’s my last.'”

Beyonce Knowles, perhaps not privy to Amy Schumer’s deeply held love of comfort and disdain for saccharine smiles, may have wondered what was eating at Miss Schumer.

While Beyonce has her own social consciousness causes, interests, and pet peeves, Amy’s campaign for comfort may not be part of the singer’s vision. Judging from her usual form-fitting costume choices, one might imagine this Superbowl superstar doesn’t know the meaning of the word comfort, but the truth on that is quite a surprise.

Amy Schumer later told Howard Stern about her disappointment in the high-fashion Met Gala during an interview on Sirius XM radio. Describing the dressy event as “a punishment” at least for her personally, she elaborated more on her impressions.

The Daily Mail quotes Amy in her description of the artifice involved in this sort of social event.

“It’s people doing an impression of having a conversation. I don’t like the farce. We’re dressed up like a bunch of f**king a**holes. I don’t like it. I have no interest in fashion… I don’t care.”

Amy Schumer hates to be uncomfortable. That’s what was really eating away at her when she talked to Beyonce Knowles. Us Weekly explained Schumer’s position on high fashion by quoting her statements to Vogue.

“I don’t think it’s stupid; there’s no moral reasoning. It’s just not my thing. I just have this sense of entitlement that I should be able to feel comfortable at all times, like I could go to bed at any moment in what I’m wearing.”

Beyonce Knowles has a way of always looking gorgeous. She has all the right curves. She shows them off in clothing choices that are simply stunning. Everything Bey wears looks like it was made just for her. It all looks like it was perfectly tailored to fit. Beyonce must really be into fashion and have the best of designers in her pocket. Right?

Amy Schumer may not care about fashion, but she still managed to look rather stunning in her poppy red Alexander Wang gown. With its thigh-high front split and extremely low cut bodice, it wasn’t a shy girl’s kind of choice. Actually, the little red dress was a very flattering design for her, but while she looked beautiful, apparently she was not comfortable.

Beyonce Knowles may have been laughing on the inside if she did happen to realize Amy was complaining about being uncomfortable in her dress, at least among other things. Beyonce has found a way to be comfortable and beautiful at the same time, according to MTV News. How? She’s gotten accustomed to wearing latex and she loves it. Most of her costumes are made from it. Not only that, she was wearing a full latex gown the very night she spoke with Amy.

Amy Schumer would be green with envy if she knew Beyonce was feeling very at home in her latex gown. It’s one little fashion secret that might interest the great champion of comfort.

Miss Schumer may think of flannel and T-shirts for comfort, but for Beyonce, it’s all about that lovely stretchy latex. It fits like a second skin, and it could be really cozy in its own way. It is extremely doubtful that Schumer’s Alexander Wang dress had that nightgown comfort, and as the evening wore on, Amy was no doubt longing for her pajamas and fuzzy slippers.

Beyonce, though, was wearing her fabric of choice for comfort. While it may not be Schumer’s cup of tea, it certainly gets Bey’s vote. But is latex empowering? It sure looks empowering on Bey.
