Big Sean Slams Ex-Girlfriend Ariana Grande For Dating Mac Miller
Ariana Grande’s ex-boyfriend Big Sean appears to be weighing in on Grande’s new romance with rapper Mac Miller.
According to reports, Big Sean, who dated Grande for a year between 2014 and 2015, is making his feelings known when it comes to Ariana’s new boyfriend, Mac Miller.
“[Big Sean’s] not tripping on her relationship nor thinking about it or care about it,” an insider close to the rapper told Hollywood Life of how Ariana’s former boyfriend feels about her dating Mac, alleging that Sean slammed Grande because he knows she’ll never find anyone better than him.
“Don’t think for a minute he’s somehow jealous. Sean considers himself one of the best men Ariana’s ever dated,” the source continued to the site after it was revealed that Ariana is now dating Mac. “He’s cocky in that way.”
“As far as he’s concerned, if she’s trying to somehow shade him by thinking he can be replaced she’s a fool. Replacing him is impossible. There’s only one Big Sean,” Hollywood Life‘s source said of how Big Sean really feels about Grande moving on with her rumoured new boyfriend, Miller. “He and Ariana had what they had and it’s over.”
The report comes just months after the website claimed that Grande took aim at Big Sean in a May 2016 interview with Billboard, where she gushed about dating former boyfriend Ricky Alvarez, who she split with just weeks ago.
Ariana Grande may have been throwing a little shade Sean’s way in the interview according to Hollywood Life after she admitted that the relationship she had with Ricky, who was thought to be her first relationship since her breakup with Big Sean in 2015, was “healthy.”

“We’re happy. I’m a very happy girl,” Ariana told Billboard of dating Alvarez at the time. “I have a healthy life right now, and I think that’s all anyone cares to know. The end.”
The site later went on to claimed that Big Sean then hit back at Ariana with a diss track rumored to be about Grande and their relationship, titled “Cruel Winter.”
Big Sean never officially confirmed his track is about Ariana, though Hollywood Life posted snippets of the song lyrics that appeared to suggest Sean may have been putting Grande on blast.
“Lately it’s all about Zen and me,” Big Sean raps in the song according to the site. “Subtractin’ the negative energy/With the family, turn your a** into a memory/I’m with the team of the century.”
But while it appeared that the rapper could have been taking aim at Grande over her dating life with Alvarez, People confirmed that Ariana and Ricky, who the singer met while he was dancing on her “Honeymoon Tour,” had split last month, less than one month after Ariana went public with Mac.
Ariana is yet to officially speak out about dating Miller, though TMZ spotted the couple kissing while on what appeared to be a romantic date night earlier this week.
The website published photos of Grande getting seriously affectionate with Mac, who’s rumored to be her new boyfriend, posting photos of the couple kissing while on a date at sushi restaurant Katsu-Ya in Encino, California, on August 21.
An eyewitnesses also told the site that Ariana and Mac were getting seriously close during the date, claiming that Grande and Miller “couldn’t keep their hands off of each other” while together and were “kissing and giggling” all night.
