Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Celebrate 2-Year Wedding Anniversary After Jennifer Aniston Rumors
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are celebrating their two-year wedding anniversary today, August 23.
Just days after Brad Pitt was accused of secretly reuniting with his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, who is currently married to actor Justin Theroux of HBO’s The Leftovers, he and wife Jolie are entering their third year of marriage.
“August 23, 2014, marks the date Angelina and Brad Pitt finally tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Chateau Miraval in the south of France surrounded by the people that they loved most after nine years, and six kids together,” Women’s Day revealed to readers.

Brad Pitt’s relationship with Angelina Jolie began on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith when the actor was still married to Aniston and was confirmed just one month after Aniston filed for divorce. In spring of 2005, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went public with their romance while in Kenya with Jolie’s oldest son, 15-year-old Maddox, whom Pitt chose to adopt as his own years later.
While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie initially denied that their relationship led to the end of Pitt’s marriage to Aniston, Jolie later admitted that they fell in love while filming.
In addition to Maddox, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are parents to 12-year-old Pax, whom they adopted from Vietnam, and 11-year-old Zahara, whom they adopted from Ethiopia. The couple also has three children of their own, 10-year-old Shiloh and 8-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Throughout the couple’s two-year-old marriage, they have been faced with ongoing rumors regarding a potential split and despite a number of outings last month which appeared to prove that the reports were false, rumors of divorce have continued.
In one of the latest rumors regarding Brad Pitt’s marriage, the actor was accused of sneaking around with Aniston.
“[Angelina Jolie] accused Brad of sneaking behind her back with [Jennifer Aniston] and yelled that he’d ruined all their new plans for the future. They’ve run into another land mine, and it all has to do with Brad reconnecting with Jen again” the source said, according to a report by HNGN.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were said to be on the rocks several weeks ago, and after Pitt allegedly called Aniston after her mother, Nancy Dow, passed away, their relationship was said to have blown up.
“Their fragile marriage has blown up, and it’s all over [Jennifer Aniston]. That phone call was a betrayal as far as Angelina’s concerned,” the source added. “It was their first moment in months without the kids or staff around. Angie thought a good one-on-one conversation would enable them to finally catch up on their lives. Then, Brad casually mentioned that he’d reached out to Jen to send his sympathy after her mom passed away in May. He didn’t think it was a big deal.”
In July, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie traveled to Los Angeles after he completed filming on Allied with his co-star Marion Cotillard and for weeks, they were seen out on the town with their children. After being photographed at a grocery store over the 4th of July holiday, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were seen grabbing breakfast at The Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood in honor of their twins’ 8th birthdays. Days later, Brad Pitt was seen with his wife at another eatery in the area.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have remained completely silent in regard to the ongoing rumors regarding their potentially impending divorce.
