Bird Identiflyer. It’s Caller ID For Bird Songs

The Bird Identiflyer is basically a caller id device for bird enthusiasts. By playing back bird calls and showing birds in their true colors the device is able to display the type of bird your listening to or looking at.

The Identiflyer can display information for up to 120 birds along with 10 different types of frogs.  Users find birds when searching by region, habitat and color of the birds in alphabetical order. Once they find the bird in question they can listen to its song to verify that it’s in fact the correct bird.

It’s probably not the best option for experienced bird watchers, but a great tool for novices just starting out and it’s super portable. [7gadgets]
