Jacqueline Laurita: Teresa Giudice Tried To Sway Her Opinion Of Joe And Melissa Gorga Years Ago, Threw Joe Under The Bus

Is Jacqueline Laurita trying to cause new problems between Teresa Giudice and her brother, Joe Gorga, and by default, between Teresa and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga? In her blog post covering the latest Real Housewives of New Jersey episode, Jacqueline seemingly questioned whether Teresa really does have the best intentions towards Joe and Melissa by saying that Teresa tried to throw Joe under the bus during their argument in her kitchen. Jacqueline also claimed that Teresa tried to sway her opinion about the Gorgas years ago, even before she met them.

Jacqueline thinks that Teresa was trying to throw her brother under the bus by lying about what Joe supposedly said. Why would Teresa do such a thing when she and Joe are supposedly good again? Jacqueline believes that Teresa, knowing that she and Joe are friends, was trying to cause problems between her and Joe on purpose. Jacqueline, whose friendship with Teresa began more than a decade ago, also claimed that even before she met Melissa and Joe, Teresa tried to share her opinion about them.

“I don’t understand why Teresa threw her brother under the bus like that. I guess by lying, Teresa was just looking to cause problems between her brother and me. I’m not sure why she brought her brother up unless she was purposely trying to create a wedge between him and I. She knew Joe and I were friends, but I guess she always tried to sway my opinion of Melissa and Joe, even before I even met them.”

During the kitchen scene, which was shown on last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa and Jacqueline started arguing about what happened between them in the past. Teresa said that she felt that Jacqueline and the others, including Melissa and Caroline Manzo, ganged up on her. Jacqueline disputed Teresa’s version of history, saying that neither she nor the others ganged up on her.

When Teresa also maintained that Jacqueline should not have questioned her about a tabloid story regarding her and her husband’s legal problems and impending prison sentences, saying that she never questioned Jacqueline about her and her husband’s own legal problems, Jacqueline fired back that theirs wasn’t a criminal case and that they never filed a fraudulent bankruptcy like she did. That statement set Teresa off, who proclaimed it a “low blow” and said that her brother had warned her years ago to not trust Jacqueline.

Jacqueline expressed surprise at Teresa Giudice’s claim and said that Joe Gorga had told her the same thing regarding Teresa — that she shouldn’t trust her. Jacqueline promptly picked up the phone, called Joe, and asked him whether what Teresa was claiming was true. Jacqueline grinned as Joe said that what he remembers is telling Teresa to not trust anybody and that he doesn’t remember specifically saying Jacqueline’s name. As for Jacqueline’s own claim that Joe told her to not trust Teresa, Joe said that even if he did say that, he said it during a time when he had a bad relationship with Teresa. Teresa was shocked that Jacqueline would call her brother like that in the middle of their argument.

On Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Melissa Gorga made it clear to Joe that she was bothered that Jacqueline Laurita had called him. Melissa pointed out that Jacqueline’s phone call could have caused problems again between him and Teresa, which then would have led to problems between her and Teresa.

When Melissa later met up with Jacqueline in a restaurant, Melissa told Jacqueline that she was angry about what she did. Melissa told Jacqueline that Joe never said that she shouldn’t be trusted, but even if he had, she should have called her for clarification, not Joe.

Jacqueline was having none of it. With her finger wagging in Melissa’s face, Jacqueline said that she didn’t need to go through her. Jacqueline also reminded Melissa that she was a good friend to her and that it was Teresa who brought up Joe in the first place.

“I don’t need to do the three-way thing and talk to you and you talk to your husband…I’m supposed to just take that your husband was talking s**t about me to my friend after all the s**t I did for your family? I tried to put you guys together a million times!”

In her latest blog post covering the latest episode, Jacqueline again explained that she felt she was good enough friends with Joe to call him directly to ask for clarification on something that Teresa said, rather than going through his wife. Jacqueline said that since it had nothing to do with Melissa, she felt no need to involve Melissa and play the telephone game.

Jacqueline again pointed out that it was Teresa who kept bringing up the past and that it was Teresa who brought up her brother during their kitchen scene. Jacqueline said that she was just holding Teresa accountable for her actions in the past, something that Teresa still doesn’t do.

While Jacqueline admitted that she “may hit below the belt sometimes…at least [she] hit[s] with the truth,” she also referenced how she waved and wagged her finger right in front of Melissa’s face, joking that “one thing [she] noticed is that [she] really do[es] talk with [her] hands a lot!”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Jacqueline claimed last week that Teresa repeatedly criticized Melissa during their kitchen scene, talking about what Melissa “did to [her],” something that was edited out. Jacqueline also claimed that viewers didn’t see her defend Melissa to Teresa.

Melissa apparently didn’t find Jacqueline’s hand action during their meeting very funny. Melissa retweeted a viewer’s tweet that praised her for keeping calm despite what Jacqueline did.

In her confessional interview, Melissa said that Jacqueline should have kept her finger down and that something was off about Jacqueline. In her own blog post, Melissa praised herself for keeping calm said that something’s definitely “VERY off” with Jacqueline.

“When she had her finger in my face, I realized two things: 1) This is NOT the friend I’ve known for years and 2) I have the patience of a saint! Something is VERY off with Jacqueline. There is a lot of animosity from her that has come out of nowhere…”

In an interview with Real Mr. Housewife posted on Tuesday, Jacqueline responded to criticism that she’s acting “crazy” over Teresa. It seems that Jacqueline isn’t letting the criticism bother her so long as the ratings are good and the show’s being talked about.

“If acting ‘crazy’ is being a ‘truth teller,’ so be it. I’m happy so many of my fans recognize it for what it is. To the ones that don’t- I’m so happy they are so invested in our show! I think it’s pretty cool. Keep us trending!”

A preview for next week’s episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey shows Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita meeting again for the first time since their tense kitchen argument. Unlike that night, viewers won’t see Teresa just leave when she wants to because this time, the cast is on vacation together. Melissa Gorga, Siggy Flicker, and Dolores Catania planned the trip as a way to get Teresa and Jacqueline back together. Not surprisingly, the preview shows that viewers will just see more awkwardness and arguing rather than any reconciling.
