Jennifer Aniston And Justin Theroux Were At Odds On Their One-Year Anniversary?

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are just one year into their marriage, and already, they are facing rumors of trouble in paradise.

In the latest of many rumors regarding their relationship, a source claims the couple’s “anniversary was a bust.”

“Justin almost didn’t come home from his ‘Leftovers’ set in Australia to celebrate their first anniversary,” a source told In Touch Weekly, according to a report by Gossip Cop on August 20. “Jen was expecting Justin to plan something special, but he didn’t. He explained that he’d been working nonstop and it totally slipped his mind.”

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux got married in August of last year at their home in Beverly Hills surrounded by their close friends and family members, including Ellen Degeneres, Courteney Cox, Sandra Bullock, Emily Blunt and Jimmy Kimmel. The marriage is the second for Aniston, who was previously married to Brad Pitt before the actor infamously fell for his now-wife, Angelina Jolie, on the set of their movie, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, over a decade ago.

Although Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were seen enjoying a meal together in Los Angeles weeks ago, the source went on to say that the former Friends actress wasn’t happy to hear that her husband may not return to California from Australia, where he’s been filming The Leftovers for the past several weeks.

“[Jennifer Aniston] really lost it, so he eventually got on a last-minute flight back to L.A. so he could fix things,” continued the source, who claimed they ended up doing a “mild, early-to-bed evening after having a few people over for dinner.”

Theroux “tried to make up for his thoughtless behavior” by taking Jennifer Aniston to dinner the next night, “but while she was upbeat and gave kisses to the staff,” the source alleged Theroux “went from cold and unemotional to downright miserable.”

In response to the magazine’s report, Gossip Cop denied Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux were on the rocks during their anniversary and said they spent their relationship milestone “happily and quietly spent together without issue.”

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux don’t talk much about their private lives but last year, just months after tying the knot, Theroux opened up about married life with Aniston on The Ellen Degeneres Show and spoke of their top-secret wedding ceremony.

“The first couple days of doing it, it’s a great feeling,” Theroux said during an episode of Ellen Degeneres’ talk show, according to a report by People Magazine. “You’re not saying fiance, after a while, sounds cute at first, then you go like, eh, fiance. Then you get to say ‘my wife.'”

Last August, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux pulled off a secret wedding by sending out invitations to their guest claiming to be hosting a barbecue. However, after telling some people one story and others another, the couple realized that their plan might not have been the best.

“Afterwards we kind of realized that was a terrible plan. You’re basically telling half your guests you’re unemployed and we can’t trust you,” Theroux admitted.

While Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s plan may not have been ideal, it worked out just fine, and although some people showed up in jeans, others were dressed to the nines.

For the past couple of years, Jennifer Aniston has faced rumors of pregnancies and potential adoptions, but so far, she and Theroux have not yet started a family.
