Khloe Kardashian Fears Lamar Odom Will Die In ‘KUWTK’ Recap: Athlete Still On Drugs?

Khloe Kardashian shared her concerns over Lamar Odom’s continuous battle with drugs and alcohol in last night’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, fearing that her estranged husband could potentially end up dead.

The 31-year-old admits that she’s tried everything in her power to help Lamar as much as she can, but for one reason or another, Odom’s intentions do not seem to correlate with the plans Khloe has for him. The former athlete, who has made endless drug-related headlines in recent months, seems to have relapsed and can’t seem to get his life together no matter how much people try and help him.

Khloe, of all people, is saddened by the thought of potentially losing Lamar completely — she’s certain that Lamar will die if he doesn’t get his act together.

Kardashian confides in sisters Kim and Kourtney, telling them that she’s run out of options to try and help Odom. At the end of the day, she wants to be there for Lamar, but she has a life of her own. If Odom doesn’t want to help himself, she can’t put the 36-year-old’s struggle on her shoulders.

“I thought he was really going to change. Why do I treat him better than I treat myself?” Hollywood Life quotes Khloe saying in the episode, to which Kim responds, “Maybe you shouldn’t put so much energy into it.”

The mother of two even suggested that Kanye West speak with Lamar in the hope that they can help him get himself together and really understand how blessed he is to have been given another shot at life after almost dying from his drug overdose at a Las Vegas brothel last year.

Khloe Kardashian, along with her family, came together to support Lamar when doctors had informed them that chances of Lamar pulling through were very unlikely. The Kardashians were under the impression that the former Lakers player was going to pass away, but in a shocking turn of events, Odom recovered.

In last night’s KUWTK episode, Khloe makes it clear that she doesn’t know how to move forward with Lamar Odom and his downward spiral. She tells Kourtney and Kim that if she doesn’t stand by her estranged husband’s side, he’s going to die, which would evidently see her feeling more guilt.

While Kim has been very vocal in telling her younger sibling to stop letting Lamar’s actions affect her, Khloe can’t seem to detach herself from the man she spent four years of her life with, Us Weekly continues. The TV personality even thought she had the perfect marriage while married to Odom. Of course, that was before she would learn of Lamar’s secret double life, which would see him allegedly hook up with dozens of women behind Khloe Kardashian’s back at a rented apartment in downtown Los Angeles.

And despite all the things that have happened in the past, Khloe has still tried to remain strong for Lamar, hoping that he’ll be able to see that she still cares and wants him to progress in life. Many even assumed that Lamar would return to basketball following his recovery process post-hospitalization, but by the look of things, Odom is far from focused on making a comeback anytime soon.
