Fifth Harmony Drama? Ally Brooke Gives Bandmate Dinah Jane Major Side Eye [Video]
Fifth Harmony’s Ally Brooke gave bandmate Dinah Jane some pretty major side eye during the band’s recent “7/27 Tour” stop in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Fifth Harmony fan @wanhedalauren took to Twitter to share footage of the moment Ally appeared less than impressed with Dinah during the girl’s show at Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre on August 20, joking that Brooke “isn’t having Dinah’s s*** anymore.”
The clip shows Dinah Jane dancing to Fifth Harmony’s huge hit “Work From Home” away from her bandmates on the North Caroline stage before she appears to anger her fellow girl bander after missing her mark for the group’s next dance move.
Rather than getting in close to Brooke for the dance step that sees the Fifth Harmony girls lean into each other, the footage captured by a concertgoer instead shows Dinah dancing several inches away from Brooke, leaving Ally unable to reach her.
Ally then made it known that she wasn’t exactly too thrilled by Dinah’s misstep, and her expression shows it all.
The concert footage shows Ally Brooke undeniably serving up a little shady side eye to her Fifth Harmony bandmate, though, as a number of Twitter fans pointed out, it looks like Brooke’s pretty unimpressed reaction was all in good fun.
“She’s literally like ‘Dinah! Gurl! I need you!'” @DinahsFtMbo tweeted out in response to the pretty shady Fifth Harmony video, while Twitter user @kirstielims claimed that “ALLY IS SO F****** DONE” with her bandmate.”
But if there was any bad blood between the two over the dance step mishap, it looked like the twosome had kissed and made up before taking to the stage again the following night for Fifth Harmony’s Nashville, Tennessee, tour date.
Following the pretty shady Fifth Harmony exchange, another fan took to Twitter to show off footage of Ally and Dinah during the band’s August 21 concert in Nashville, where Brooke made it clear during the girls’ performance that she had nothing but praise and love for the singer.
Fifth Harmony fan @applepieforally uploaded the footage thought to be taken the day after the pretty shady side eye incident, where Ally can be seen enthusiastically applauding after Dinah Jane hits a high note during a performance of the girls’ track “I Lied.”
Ally’s on stage antics rounded off another week of drama for Fifth Harmony and their fans, after followers flocked to Twitter to show their support for Brooke after she was allegedly told by a concert goer during a Fifth Harmony meet and greet session that she was the “least loved” of the girls.
Fifth Harmony’s dedicated followers quickly trended the hashtag #WeLoveYouAlly after a Twitter user claimed that a so-called fan blasted Brooke prior to the girl’s tour stop in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Fifth Harmony fan @AlexCruz0 shared the story on the social media site on August 19, claiming that a meet and greet winner “asked Ally if she knew she was the least loved in the group.”
Ally has not spoken out about the alleged incident, though Twitter followers claimed that Brooke’s Fifth Harmony bandmate Lauren Jauregui had her back during the exchange, allegedly telling the fan to “shut up” after asking Ally the upsetting question.
But while Lauren jumped to Ally’s defense during the incident, rumors have swirled for months that there could be drama between the Fifth Harmony girls.
“The girls are with each other constantly, so anytime away is a breath of fresh air because they all get on each other’s nerves,” a Fifth Harmony source revealed, but admitted that “it’s not something that is going to break them up anytime soon.”
“They know that they are at the cusp of something more, and they may eventually go their separate ways, but they also don’t want to leave money on the table,” the insider added.
