Amy Schumer And Goldie Hawn To Play Mother-Daughter Duo, Amy Expresses Anxiety At Being In Love For The First Time

Amy Schumer, the American stand-up comedian, has been credited with convincing Goldie Hawn to team with her in an upcoming mother-daughter comedy. Amy sowed the seeds of the movie in Goldie’s mind when the two actresses were traveling together on a plane a couple of years ago, and to her delight, Goldie Hawn agreed to work with her in the upcoming movie set to be produced by 20th Century Fox.

The movie follows an adventurous journey taken by a mother-daughter pair whose vacation has gone terribly awry. Amy Schumer plays the daughter who travels with her mom on a vacation to the South American rainforests, and when things don’t go according to plan, the audacious duo’s last resort is to make it to the American Embassy by taking the path less traveled.

Amy Schumer is known for having the skills to identify the right actors to be cast as her co-stars, so it was befitting of her to approach a veteran actress like the Death Becomes Her actress who has acted in several successful comedy movies in her career.

The two actresses recently traveled to Hawaii to wrap up the filming of their upcoming movie, and Amy Schumer celebrated the occasion by tweeting her thanks to the film crew and the Hawaiian people. Throughout the course of filming, Amy Schumer has been regularly posting behind-the-scenes photos that also feature Goldie Hawn and Christopher Meloni, another co-star in the movie. According to Entertainment Weekly, Goldie Hawn expressed her excitement about the film and her love for Amy Schumer, who initially had to coax her into joining the film project.

“We’re going to hit the balls back and forth. Two women lost in the jungle. It’s going to be so much fun! I love her very much.”

Goldie Hawn isn’t the only veteran actress who has commended Amy Schumer. Time magazine reports that the legendary Meryl Streep has said that Amy Schumer may well be the right actress to portray her if a biopic is ever produced that is based on her life.

Trainwreck‘s commercial success and her flawless performance have enabled Amy Schumer to join the ranks of the highest-paid Hollywood celebrities. Additionally, Amy Schumer not only anchored the film, but she also wrote the script for the entire film, thereby establishing herself as a celebrity who is much more than an actress. In 2013, she created and hosted Inside Amy Schumer, a sketch comedy series that entertains the audiences through vignette, parodies, and stand-up comedy.

Amy Schumer may be a busy actress who keeps up with her professional commitments, but she is also a celebrity who makes sure to devote time to her friends and loved ones. According to People magazine, Amy Schumer took time out of her busy schedule while filming with Goldie Hawn in Hawaii to attend her friend’s wedding as a bridesmaid.

Later, Amy shared a photo that showed her dressed in a bridesmaid’s gown along with the newlyweds. Amy was accompanied by Ben Hanisch, the Chicago-based furniture maker with whom she has been romantically involved for about a year.

It was a doubly special occasion for the couple as Ben Hanisch was celebrating his 30th birthday on the same day. Amy and Ben met each other through a dating app and have been together ever since they met. According to People magazine, an emotional Amy Schumer explained what it feels like to be in love for the first time.

“Being in love is the scariest thing in the world. You want to f***ing cry and scream. I can’t handle it.”
