Kate Gosselin’s parenting skills have been closely scrutinized in the past, but allegations that the reality show star’s children have suffered under her disciplinary practices recently surfaced. Journalist Robert Hoffman claims he found Gosselin’s secret journals which referenced supposed physical abuse. The computer diaries allegedly contained notes which were used to create the television performer’s two books, Eight Little Faces and Multiple Bles8ings.
The reporter claims that Kate Gosselin’s journals revealed that she had used a wooden spoon to hit her children and yanked them by the hair as punishment. If the journalist’s claims are accurate, the physical discipline was imposed for minor transgressions, such as not completing potty training quickly enough or climbing out of a crib.
Hoffman had this to say to about his alleged discovery at the Gosselin home:
“I don’t judge somebody for spanking, but what Kate wrote in her journal is just absolute violence. She uses that Spanker on a daily basis for anything and everything. Her spanking entries are endless.”
The reality show mom also allegedly worried about her “excessive physicality” towards her children. In one computer journal entry Kate Gosselin is accused of writing that she told her ex-husband Jon that she felt she may hurt his children. She also allegedly typed that she preferred it when the brood was out of her sight whenever she got angry because she knew that they were safe.
An alleged Gosselin journal entry about son Collin supposedly reads:
“I sent him to his crib and whipped him into it very hard. I never felt that I may really seriously injure a child, but today was that day.”
The reality show leading lady’s questionable parenting allegations also involved boozing at night in front of her nannies, according to Radar Online. Hoffman also maintains that the television star’s attorneys are attempting to block the release of his upcoming book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World.

Well here we go again.. Kate Gosslin hits her kids… I am fixing to piss off some people. Spanking a child is not abuse.. Controlled spanking is possible. Maybe she can see the light at the end of the tunnel. She does not want a of a bunch of out of control teens taking over the castle. Raising children is hard enough with a spouse. She is co parenting with a idiot. I don't think I want to see her and her ex and their brood on Dr. Phil sending them off to a ranch in Utah to clean up their mess. She is a mom. Let her do her job. Sometimes there is battle damage along the way. Raising children is a war. It's best the the leader leads and the followers follow.. Parents should have control.. Yoo many don't..
She wrote about it in her journal….what does that mean..she didn't do it..she was letting off steam..hello..ALL moms need an outlet to release tension…people today are so quick to accuse..no wonder good people lose their kids! Spanking is different that abuse! Kids need discipline…and let me tell ya..some cute as a button children can be stubborn to where time outs do not work, taking things away does not work….stop getting into parents business unless it is obvious abuse! It shows today that kids KNOW people will take them away if their parents spank them..the lack of respect in today's society is awful! KIDS are disrespectful, lack respect for authority etc…She spanked them..not beat them!
Hmm, a narcissistic mother who would rather not even have kids, but has 8, and decides to put her life on TV? What a shocker that she treated them like crap while treating herself to anything she could. No wonder Jon left her. Those kids should be taken away and her life dismantled by Social Services. If it's good enough for anyone else, it's good enough for her….
