‘Days Of Our Lives’: Eric Martsolf On Brady And Theresa’s Relationship After Tate Is Found [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives returns after a two-week hiatus in just a few days. Viewers are excited to find out what will happen with the Salem residents. Recently, Eric Martsolf spoke about what is in store for Brady and Theresa’s relationship after baby Tate is found.

DOOL spoilers are ahead. If you don’t want to know what happens next on the NBC soap opera, then stop reading.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Theresa Brady’s (Jen Lilley) kidnapped son, Tate, will be found soon. In an interview with Soap Central, it was revealed that the storyline would last through August. The month is coming to an end and a preview for the new season of Days Of Our Lives shows the family reunited.

Shortly after Tate was kidnapped on the long-running soap opera, Theresa lashed out at everyone, including Brady. At one point, she even blamed him for bringing Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson) into their lives. At the time, Summer was suspected of taking the baby. Even though she accepted money to kidnap Tate, she didn’t complete the job. The character then left Salem, so she isn’t guilty of the crime.

Next on the suspect list is Brady’s grandfather, Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). The preview clip for Days Of Our Lives reveals that Victor is arrested. The charge is conspiracy to kidnap Brady and Theresa’s son. However, he claims he is innocent and is being set up by his own brother, Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry).

In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Eric Martsolf and Jen Lilley spoke about what to expect next on Days Of Our Lives. It turns out that Theresa will have empathy and guilt regarding Tate’s kidnapping. She also has issues with Victor being arrested for the crime. She isn’t convinced that he is guilty and feels like it is tearing the Kiriakis family apart. As mentioned in the interview, Brady blames his grandfather while Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Justin (Wally Kurth) believe that Victor is innocent.

For a bit of a history lesson, if Victor did kidnap Tate, it wouldn’t be the first time. According to She Knows, Victor also had Claire kidnapped from a diner. The reason was to make Belle appear to be a negligent parent, which would be his same reasoning for kidnapping Tate. It was actually one of three times Claire was kidnapped as a child.

As for Brady and Theresa’s relationship on Days Of Our Lives, fans shouldn’t worry. After Tate is found, the two will become closer than ever, just like Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) predicted. Eric Martsolf told the magazine the status of Brady and Theresa’s relationship after Tate is found.

“This experience has bonded them. They know that they’re ready to take the next step in their relationship, which is getting married.”

However, things are not going to be all roses for the couple. As fans know from the NBC preview clip, Xander Cook (Paul Tefler) tries to strangle Theresa on her wedding day. Meanwhile, Orpheus (George DelHoyo) will hold up Brady’s wedding, and Clyde Weston (James Read) will point a gun at Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). For fans worried if Theresa will die on Days Of Our Lives, it was revealed by Jen Lilley on Instagram that she will be on television screens for another six months. That was back when she first announced she was leaving the soap opera, so expect to see her until the end of the year.

What do you think is going to happen with Brady and Theresa on Days Of Our Lives? Will they survive Xander and Orpheus? Or will fans be grieving the death of a beloved DOOL character?
