Pippa Middleton Tell-All: Everything You Need To Know About The Duchess’ Sister

It was on April 29, 2011, that Pippa Middleton stepped on the scene and gained fame for her stunning beauty and gorgeous posterior in the designer gown which she walked down the aisle in as maid of honor for her royal sister’s wedding. Ever since, the younger sister of Duchess Kate has maintained a piece of the spotlight, and following her recent engagement to beau of nearly 10 years, James Matthews, she has found herself center stage once more.

As a way to pay homage to the soon-to-be union between she and James, as well as to elaborate a little more on the Middleton girls’ humble upbringing that has led them to a life of luxury, here is a bit of a tell-all about 32-year-old Pippa.

Born on September 6, 1983, to Carole and Michael Middleton in Reading, Pippa is the second of three children. Her known siblings are older sister Kate Middleton, also known as the Duchess of Cambridge, and her younger brother, James Middleton.

The Duchess’ sister graduated from the University of Edinburgh after attaining a degree in English literature then turning to PR for a luxury goods company. However, Middleton then wanted to keep it all in the family and began taking an interest in her parent’s Party Pieces company before venturing into being a party planner. The Middleton sisters’ mother had founded the business in 1987, and it specialized in the selling of balloons, decorations, and gift bags. Pippa began editing the company site and also began working with the professional party planning company Table Talk.

Once Pippa had gained a wealth of expertise in the industry of party planning, she released a book on the subject, Celebrate, in 2012. Before publishing the book, she made her famed debut at the aforementioned royal wedding and, believe it or not, even was given the go ahead to be a part of the party planning committee for the big day! Pippa was a big help in organizing the delightful bites at the big day and reserved a disco ball for the reception party that was likely quite a good time.

In addition to being a party-planning enthusiast and being known for her impeccable style, Pippa is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys all types of sports. Much like her fiance, Pippa takes on multiple grueling races yearly and is always sure to turn up as a spectator at Wimbledon and various polo matches. Pippa was so good at sports and had such a competitive nature that she achieved a scholarship to Malborough College. As Grazia states, Middleton is always striving to be at her best in regards to fitness and activity.

“With a 54 mile London to Brighton cycle under her belt, the 90km Vasaloppet cross-country ski and Race Across America, Pippa is continuously striving to beat previous records. Fiancé James shares her love of sport and he had completed the 156 mile Marathon des Sables in 2008 before the pair met. In 2015, the pair participated in a 47-mile swim-run in Sweden, raising money for the Michael Matthews Foundation.”

And who is James Matthews? In marrying Matthews, Pippa is to become Lady Glen Affric once James inherits the title as Laird of Glen Affric from his father. Matthews is a wealthy hedge fund manager, and his family owns a resort in St. Barth’s, to which he once flew the entire Middleton family. In marrying Pippa, Matthews will essentially be linked to the royal family himself, and he and Prince William, Kate Middleton’s husband, have a little bit in common, as they both studied at Eton College.

Pippa and James are seemingly the perfect match and despite no details about the wedding as of yet, it’s sure to be a lavish occasion. We can still imagine what the event might involve, much like People reminds us.
