Synopsis: J.L. Family Ranch (JL Ranch) Movie On HMC

John Landsburg is the owner of a Texas property named Landsburg Ranch. The property has been in his family for generations, and John is glad to be able to pass the property down to his children. However, someone in town wants to make that impossible. That someone is Tap Peterson, John’s neighbor and enemy, who claims that Landsburg Ranch was stolen from his family, and he wants it back. However, Tap has no intention of getting it back the legal way. Instead, the conniving schemer forges documents to make it look as if the property is rightfully his.

When officials come to John Landsburg’s home to take his land, the old rancher doesn’t back down. After all, he has been on the land all of his life and is not about to give in to corrupt officials. Landsburg, who was once the sheriff of the town, knows that the ranch belongs to him and his family, and he sets out to prove it with the help of his dedicated daughter, Rebecca. Together, they’ll get to the root of the bitter feud and sort out what may have happened to cause the mix-up.

Ranchers and their families love their way of life, and they wouldn’t give it up for anything in the world. That is the type of attitude reflected in John’s character as the patriarch of the family.

JL Ranch, aka J.L. Family Ranch, is produced by Crystal Sky Pictures and executive produced by R. Michael Givens. Filming for the movie took place in La Grange, Kentucky.
