Miranda Kerr’s Relationship With Ex Orlando Bloom, Engagement Announcement An Ad For Snapchat?

Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom might be on the most amicable terms ever, according to ET Online. The 33-year-old model may have divorced the Pirates of the Caribbean actor three years ago, but it doesn’t mean they can’t be close.

In fact, Miranda Kerr even bought a house in Malibu, California, in order to be closer to Bloom’s house so that they could raise their five-year-old son Flynn together. Just last month, the supermodel announced her engagement to Snapchat co-founder Evan Spiegel, but she still stays close to Bloom.

In her recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Miranda Kerr admitted that although she and Bloom loved living in New York City, they opted for the best geographical option to raise their son. In fact, Bloom initially wanted to raise Flynn in his Malibu house.

“We thought it would be a better lifestyle for Flynn. He could be outside playing year-round, playing in the sand. We could have a garden.”

And with the idea in mind to be close with Bloom as a family, Miranda Kerr started looking for houses in Malibu to make things easier for her and Bloom to co-parent Flynn.

Miranda Kerr also revealed that she is so obsessed with an eco-friendly lifestyle that she made a garden in the backyard of her Malibu home so her and Flynn could grow their own kale, strawberries, blueberries, and lemons.

Miranda Kerr also said that her fiancée supports her eco-friendly, organic lifestyle. In fact, he even bought her a Skywater 300, which according to its description, supplies the entire house with water and draws moisture from the humidity in the air.

Miranda Kerr called her house “a dust bowl” when she bought it, but now it’s a green place.

“Obviously, I’m aware of the drought problem in California. This system really just pulls water out of the sky. It was a very thoughtful present because [Spiegel] knows how much I love a garden.”

Miranda Kerr is not the only one who moved on, as Bloom is also making serious steps in his relationship with Katy Perry. On their recent photos taken at a beach, the two were seen having lots of fun, and in some of the photos they even didn’t wear a swimsuit.

Miranda Kerr confirmed her engagement to billionaire Evan Spiegel by posting an Instagram photo of her engagement ring, according to E! Online. Some interpreted the supermodel’s Instagram photo as a way to promote Snapchat’s latest features.

Miranda Kerr shared the news not on her fiancée’s Snapchat, but on its rivaling social media service Instagram, which already boasts more than 400 million active users. Hours later, she did, however, post the same thing on Snapchat, which allows viewers to see celebrity posts only if they follow them. This in no way does it mean that Miranda Kerr’s engagement news wouldn’t break into the media. It might mean that the supermodel trusts this kind of information only to her most dedicated fans.

Snapchat, a video-based platform, has recently launched the “memories” feature, which allows users to upload a picture from their device’s photo album. Miranda Kerr uploaded an image, which shows her and Spiegel’s hands along with the caption, “I said yes.”

And while many Miranda Kerr fans thought it was cute that the supermodel used the cartoon likeness of herself and Spiegel, they may not realize that it was a way for her to promote Bitmoji, a recently acquired Snapchat company that creates personalized emojis.

Just hours before Miranda Kerr posted the engagement photo, Snapchat had announced that the Bitmoji feature had been integrated into Snapchat.
