CERN Scientists Fake Human Sacrifice Above Hadron Collider In Bizarre Joke

Researchers working on the Large Hadron Collider have been caught on video acting out a fake ceremony involving human sacrifice on the grounds of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).
The bizarre video has prompted a CERN internal investigation as officials admit the weird fake ceremony took place on their grounds, but without their permission, a spokeswoman told the Daily Mail.
“These scenes were filmed on our premises, but without official permission or knowledge. CERN does not condone this type of spoof, which can give rise to misunderstandings about the scientific nature of our work.”

The bizarre video shows people wearing long black robes walking around under a large statue of the Hindu deity Shiva the Destroyer before a woman kneels on the floor and is stabbed.
It was apparently filmed by an observer in an elevated location; at the end of the video they scream, let out string of expletives, and flee with the camera still running. CERN authorities say the people involved with the fake occult ceremony used their security badges to gain access to the grounds, reports the Daily Mail.
“CERN welcomes every year thousands of scientific users from all over the world and sometimes some of them let their humor go too far. This is what happened on this occasion.”
This really isn’t the type of advertisement CERN needs.
The agency is responsible for the Large Hadron Collider, which accelerates atoms to super speeds and smashes them into each other to see what happens. Many people view the project critically and even the Pope has expressed a wish for the machine to be shut down fearing, as others do, the accidental destruction of the Earth.
The Large Hadron Collider creates very small black holes when it slams atoms into each other at super high speeds and they disappear very quickly. Some people, however, fear what would happen if the black holes accidentally stuck around and started sucking all nearby matter into them starting with the continent of Europe and eventually ending with the destruction of Earth.
The people at CERN who use the Hadron Collider are often accused of practicing witchcraft, creating earthquakes, opening doorways to other dimensions, summoning portals to hell, and generally plotting to take over the world.

The CERN video was uploaded to YouTube from Boston by a user named Richie and has since been viewed more than 86,000 times.
“This is new footage caught on the grounds of Cern, videotaped from inside the building. If it’s real, that’s horrible, if it’s a staged ritual, that’s equally bad.”
It was also posted on the Facebook page Stranger Than Fiction News. The strange video eventually made its way to conspiracy theorists who claimed to present evidence of their own that CERN scientists were up to no good.
Some users commented on the use of the Hindu statue of Shiva the Destroyer in the video, and questioned whether it revealed the true purpose of the Hadron Collider. CERN officials, however, have said it was a gift from the government of India and represents the dance of subatomic particles.

The video does raise legitimate concerns about CERN security, however, and officials there have launched an investigation into the matter; Geneva police have also been contacted although they aren’t part of the investigation, according to The Guardian.
