Farrah Abraham Encourages Sophia On Snapchat: ‘Teen Mom’ Star Has No Problem With 7-Year-Old Texting Strangers At Night

Farrah Abraham is receiving heat once again for her parenting decisions. The former Teen Mom star allowed her 7-year-old daughter, Sophia, to sign up for a Snapchat account. However, that isn’t the most shocking part. Apparently, the reality TV personality has no problem with Sophia begging strangers to text her late at night. In fact, it sounds like she is encouraging it.

According to a report from RadarOnline, 7-year-old Sophia signed up for Snapchat in July. Even though the terms of service do not allow young children to have an account, Sophia’s was still up and running. At least, until today. According to the Hollywood Gossip, Sophia was “kicked off” Snapchat.

Farrah Abraham, 25, apparently has no issues with her little girl being on the social networking site. When Sophia was begging strangers to “text her” late at night, the young mother still didn’t see the problem. In a Snapchat video, Sophia pleaded with strangers to text her, something that would have most parents concerned.

“Give me text, I’m coming for you. Give me more texts.”

RadarOnline went to Farrah to get an answer for this concerning attention-seeking behavior. However, Abraham was not worried at all and fails to see the risks associated with children talking to strangers on the Internet. The Teen Mom star told the website that it is fine, especially if Sophia is hyper.

“If she wants messages and she’s hyper, then good for her before bedtime.”

Teen Mom fans ended up slamming Abraham for allowing her young daughter to text strangers. It appears that the young girl did not give out her phone number. However, she did reveal that she was receiving too many messages.

“Excuse me, you guys are texting me so much could you please stop. Everyone stop texting me. I have to go to bed.”

The next morning, Sophia went back on Snapchat to tell her followers that they could start texting her again because it was “daytime.”

However, this is not the first time that Farrah’s parenting skills have been questioned. In addition to Snapchat, Sophia had an Instagram account, according to WetPaint. That violated the terms of service because of her age, but that really isn’t the core issue. Not only do Teen Mom fans follow Sophia, but there is the chance that people with horrible intentions do, too. It is a safety issue. At 7 years of age, Sophia probably doesn’t understand the real dangers lurking out there.

As Teen Mom fans probably remember, Sophia being on social media is not the only parenting concern fans have. A few years ago, Farrah Abraham waxed and tweezed Sophia’s eyebrows. According to People magazine, the reality TV personality would also have no problem if Sophia ever wanted to get into the adult entertainment business.

“God bless her! Because you know what, when you’re 18, and if you feel that you’re vulnerable enough or your mother wasn’t there or you don’t have enough money in your bank account and you decide to do that, then that’s your own choice.”

Farrah also stated to People magazine that she doesn’t believe she is setting Sophia up for that kind of life. However, comments from fans and followers on Twitter and Facebook suggest that fans disagree and are worried about Sophia’s future if Abraham doesn’t step up her parenting game, as previously reported by the Inquisitr.
