Kendall Jenner’s Corvette Convertible Is Perfect, But How Is Her Love Life?

Kendall Jenner is an extremely responsible and very private person. She works hard as a model to prove herself a serious professional. She works nearly all the time, with little time to herself, and in her rare and precious spare time, Miss Jenner works even harder to give the paparazzi the slip. She confided the details to Vogue.

“Every day, I have to find a way to escape; I have to go borrow someone else’s car. Sometimes it takes me an hour to figure out how to get rid of these guys who have been following me all day. And the second that I feel it getting the better of me, I have to go chill myself out—go take a bath or something to, like, disconnect from it. It keeps you real and sane and humble.”

When Kendall Jenner isn’t borrowing a friend’s car to escape the cameras, she drives her robin’s-egg blue 1957 convertible classic Corvette Stingray. The gorgeous classic features creamy white leather bucket seats and a fully restored engine. The entire car has been restored to its original condition. This vehicle is 100 percent original, and exactly the same as it just rolled off the assembly line nearly 60 years ago. It has no seat belts, the world’s tiniest rear view mirror, and even the original AM radio.

Kendall Jenner learned from her dad to drive a stick shift, or straight drive vehicle and today Kendall handles that vehicle like a pro. She enjoys the high-performance engine even though it goes through a lot of gasoline.

The classic Corvette it certainly draws attention, but the paparazzi don’t seem to be drawn to it. It just attracts the admiration of numerous classic car buffs who often ask her about it, when she is out for a drive.

“I’m telling you, I get hit on by the most random people. Old men—like, older-than-my-dad old—honk at me and wave. Guys on motorcycles will pull up next to me and be like, ‘Nice car! It’s your dad’s, right?’ And I’m like, ‘No, it’s actually mine.’ “

Kendall Jenner also enjoys her high-rise condominium in the Westwood community of L.A. She bought the lofty $1,4 million two-bedroom unit with her own money when she was only 18 years old. The building was built in the 1980s and has a slightly Art Deco or Beaux-Arts architecture according to Vogue.

Kendall is very confident in her career, and she definitely wants to be taken seriously. When it comes to role models in her field Kendall names Cindy Crawford without any hesitation. Kendall greatly admires Cindy, both in her career longevity and for being the mom of a beautiful little daughter who looks just like her.

“This is a career—I want this to last for a long time. Not that I won’t venture out and do other things, but I want this to be like a Cindy Crawford thing: I want it to last until I am her age. That’s why I love her so much and why I look up to her: Her life now is something that I want my life to be like.”

Kendall Jenner contends the reason no one has a clue about her love life is that there is nothing to report. Kendall alleges she hasn’t had a regular boyfriend in two years and has no real involvement with anyone. She doesn’t even date much. She told Vogue she doesn’t know where her life is headed when it comes to romance.

“Why would you let other people have their opinion on it, when you’re not even certain of what’s going on? When you’re young, everything’s just kind of all over the place. I don’t like it when people are all up in my business.”
