Vicki Gunvalson Backtracking On Cancer Lies: ‘I Never Had Any Proof’

Vicki Gunvalson is trying to clear her name after last year’s cancer scandal that rocked The Real Housewives of Orange County. Vicki’s co-stars believed that she knew more than she was saying about Brooks Ayers’ cancer drama. While he was caught lying about his medical records, the Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars were questioning how much Gunvalson really knew about his stories. Since she was with him a lot and had even taken him to the doctor’s office, the ladies wanted to know her side of the story. However, it sounds like Gunvalson is still dealing with the backlash of the cancer drama, as she’s now revealing that she never had any proof that he was lying or telling the truth.

According to a new tweet, Vicki Gunvalson is now revealing that she really doesn’t know where she stands. While she loved Brooks last year, she never wanted to question his cancer story. And despite defending him, she has no proof that he was lying about having cancer — and she didn’t have proof that he was telling the truth.

“U felt u had a lot invested in ur relationship. After yrs defending him u decided it was important to protect the ‘image’ of him. You sacrificed a lot defending him. Was easier to go along w/ his lies than admit the truth. I hope you find love for yourself!” one person wrote to Vicki.

Gunvalson took the time to defend herself, writing, “I never had any proof he was lying and never had any proof he was telling the truth #IMovedOn #DontCareAnymore #HisLife.”

It’s very interesting that Gunvalson is now saying that she doesn’t have any proof at all to make either case. Last year on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki revealed that she strongly believed that he had cancer. To get the women off her back, Gunvalson admitted that she had indeed fabricated some stories about his cancer so they would stop asking her questions about his illness. Now, fans just want her to own the truth so everyone can move on.

“It doesn’t go away until you own it. You knew…you just don’t want to admit it!” one Twitter follower wrote back to Gunvalson, hinting that she needs to own her story even though she has been very secretive about what she’s experienced behind closed doors.

“Thats not true!!” Vicki Gunvalson replied to the follower, who wrote back, “there’s no proof that it is and no proof that it isn’t. The truth sets you free…a lie shackles itself to you!”

Even though Brooks Ayers isn’t on this season of the show, Vicki Gunvalson still called him on the phone during the previous episode. She wanted him to call David Beador and set the record straight about who was lying and who wasn’t. He didn’t call her back, but Vicki is convinced that she has been able to clear her name.

“When I got into the limo, I decided to call Brooks in hopes that he would answer the phone. HE is the only one who can stop this madness about people saying that I lied for him and I told him on his voicemail to call David to settle this once and for all,” Vicki Gunvalson revealed on her blog for Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Orange County, adding, “Enough is enough. Move on!! They will never know what I went through privately with him and I have no desire to discuss it anymore with any of them.”
