Canada And U.S. Begin Manhunt For Reality Star In Model’s Death
Orange County, CA (AHN) – American and Canadian authorities are searching for a reality TV star who is suspected of having killed his wife, swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore, and cutting alll her fingers and removing her teeth before stuffing her body in a suitcase. A $10 million warrant has been issued for Canadian Ryan Alexander Jenkins.
Fiore married Jenkins in April in Las Vegas, according to Orange County authorities. The 28-year-old model lived her husband in Los Angles the following weeks, but was last seen with her husband when they checked into the L’Auberge Del Mar hotel in San Diego.
Her body was found on Aug. 15, in a large blood-stained grey suitcase in a Buena Park dumpster. Buena Park Police say the body showed signs of severe beating, and had no fingers and teeth.
Jenkins, a businessman who was on the VH1 program “Megan Wants a Millionaire,” reported his wife missing to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department at 8:55 pm the same night the body was found.
He is believed to have fled to Canada in a speedboat. Investigators have found his black BMW X-5 attached to a boat trailer in a marina in Blaine, Washington. Orange County District Attorney Tony Rackauckas has filed papers so the arrest warrant can be issued in Canada.
“Mr. Jenkins is considered dangerous, possibly armed, and has the financial means to hide anywhere in the world,” Rackauckas said. “Anyone helping Mr. Jenkins hide from the police may go to prison themselves. Mr. Jenkins should do the right thing and turn himself in before he gets himself into further trouble.”
