Rumor Killer: Jennifer Lopez is ‘100 Percent’ NOT Pregnant; To Star in New HBO Movie

Jennifer Lopez is not pregnant. “100 percent” not pregnant.

The strange rumor of a new baby on the way for the now 47 year “J-Lo” and her boyfriend – 29 year old actor, director, and choreographer Beau “Casper” Smart – made its rounds on social media and various news sites, in addition to our very own Inquisitr. The child would have been Lopez’s third, while Smart has never conceived.

Jennifer Lopez’s representatives were quick to dismiss the story, speaking with TMZ.

Lopez’s longtime friend and manager Benny Medina told the celebrity gossip Web site that the stories regarding the popular U.S. singer and actress are “100 percent not true. Does this [picture] look like [Jennifer Lopez is] pregnant?”

Along with the message dismissing the rumor, Medina provided what he claimed to be photographic evidence that Lopez is not pregnant… a picture he claims was taken of J-Lo the prior night.

And Medina, TMZ noted, was not the only source to dismiss the rumors of a pregnant Lopez.

“Two other sources in a position to know — especially one,” noted TMZ’s staff, “Confirm [Jennifer Lopez is] not pregnant.”

Jennifer Lopez is now thrice married following failed unions with Ojani Noa (1997), Cris Judd (2001), and Marc Anthony (2004). She is also the mother of seven year old twins Max and Emme, whom she once told Article Bio both improved her life and helped her to grow as a human being.

J-Lo and Smart – who was promoted from backup dancer to choreographer for Jennifer Lopez’s 2012 Dance Again Tour – have been romantically linked since 2011. Although no official talks of marriage for the pair have been proven, Lopez recently noted that her next dream wedding would be held at her home in the Hamptons.

While many of Lopez’s closest confidants have questioned how such a story about J-Lo being pregnant could have even originated, what is known is that the publicity comes at a great time for the former star of The Wedding Planner and current star of Shades of Blue, as Lopez has recently been linked to play the starring role in an HBO film documenting the life of known drug lord Griselda Blanco, also known as “The Cocaine Godmother.”

“I’ve been fascinated by the life of this corrupt and complicated woman for many years,” said Jennifer Lopez, per MSN. “The idea of teaming with HBO felt like the perfect fit for finally bringing Griselda’s story to life.”

As noted by Hello Magazine, Blanco is believed to be responsible for over 200 deaths during her lifetime, as well as the smuggling of 300 kilos of cocaine per month during her lifetime. She was shot dead in 2012 in Medellin, Columbia.

This movie – for which Lopez will serve as executive producer alongside Elaine Goldsmith – comes out of Nuyorican Productions and LBI Entertainment. Medina will also executive produce alongside LBI’s Julie and Rick Yorn.

Obviously, starring in such an action packed film would be a bit much for most people on the cusp of hitting the half a century mark, let alone an actress who keeps as busy a schedule as Jennifer Lopez AND is pregnant.
