Is Gwen Stefani getting cold feet about her wedding plans with Blake Shelton?

While fans seem to be obsessed with the couple’s blossoming romance, even they were surprised to learn that the singer had accepted Shelton’s proposal last month, considering that the twosome have only been dating for nine months.

Their short-lived dating phase hasn’t stopped them from getting on with things, starting with their sudden plans to get hitched, a source confirms. And while Gwen Stefani was all for a big wedding with the country singer, according to IBTimes, she is beginning to doubt whether or not she actually wants to pull through with it, wondering if she and Blake are moving too fast.

The singer is head over heels in love with Blake, but their romance is still so fresh, and the fact that they aren’t wasting any time to plan their wedding has left Gwen Stefani rather uncertain, particularly because she’s currently on tour and doesn’t have time to look over the wedding arrangements.

It was just a year ago when Stefani filed for divorce from ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, alluding to the idea that the cheating affairs were too much for her to handle. The “Hollaback Girl” hitmaker was devastated by the revelations her husband allegedly stepped out on their marriage on numerous occasions, evidently leading her to call it quits with Rossdale for good.

Gwen hasn’t sat down and thought things through, a source tells In Touch, as the 46-year-old gears up to get married to a man she has only known for a year. “Gwen and Blake have hit a rough patch in their relationship,” an insider continued, according to GossipCop, which claims the report is completely false.

“Now with some distance between them, Gwen’s had doubts, even as they are interviewing wedding planners. She’s wondering if they got serious too fast, before she had time to process her breakup with Gavin [Rossdale].”

In Touch does go on to mention that, while Gwen Stefani is somewhat torn about the marriage plans, Blake Shelton has reassured her that everything will be fine. The Voice mentor has publicly said it himself that Gwen is one of the sweetest, caring, and beautiful women he has ever been with.

Their decision to get married so far isn’t for shock value, but more so for the fact that they are so in love with one another that they see no reason not to go through with those plans. But, as reported by In Touch, Gwen Stefani has raised her concerns about getting married so soon.

“They’ll work through it. They’re in love,” the insider concluded, insinuating that whatever worries Gwen Stefani is currently faced with, Blake will assure her that their forthcoming wedding will be something she won’t end up regretting. After all, Blake has given the impression that he can see himself spending the rest of his life with Stefani.

According to reports, the couple is planning to tie the knot in December, with some sources calling it the couple’s own Christmas wedding. The ceremony will be very intimate, with only their closest friends and family members in attendance. Once the twosome have officially married, this will be Gwen and Blake’s second time tying the knot, having both been through the process once before — just not with people they could spend a lifetime with.

Gwen and Blake have yet to reveal more about their forthcoming plans to get married this year, but sources do reveal that they already have a wedding planner, who is helping the duo get everything ready in time for their big day.
