Selena Gomez Talks Justin Bieber Again & What She Thinks About Kourtney Kardashian

Selena Gomez might have broken up with Justin Bieber in 2014, but that didn’t keep her from talking about him in her Vogue Australia story.

Selena Gomez did not explicitly mention Justin Bieber’s name, but she referred to her relationship with the “Baby” singer and said that her relationship with him often overshadowed her singing career. “For a while, my private life was the most talked about thing,” Gomez told Vogue Australia. “Nobody really knows everything and they can only assume. You want to do what you love but all this other stuff overshadows it so it makes it a little harder for people to take me seriously.”

However, it seems like Selena Gomez is certainly not shaken by it at all, and she confesses that she needs to accept her life as it is for now. “I figured it’s just temporary. I feel like that fortunately and unfortunately it’s where my life is at the moment and I have to accept it,” the “Let Me Love You” singer said.

Selena Gomez also talked about her relationships in the past and how she still feels hesitant about starting new relationships. “Because I think people would think it’s kind of dumb [to date me],” Gomez said. “Nobody would want to throw themselves into that situation where it was so heightened publicly, like, why would they?” Selena Gomez’s public persona will no doubt affect her future relationships.

While Selena Gomez may be all too keen to close the Justin Bieber chapter, he too has moved on. The Inquisitr had quoted Hollywood Life as saying that Kourtney Kardashian and Justin Bieber have a great chemistry, and the two are pretty thick. It has also been reported that Justin Bieber did let Selena Gomez know that he was still seeing Kourtney Kardashian, and it didn’t make her too happy. “Justin explained that he is quietly seeing Kourtney Kardashian again,” the insider said.

The Inquisitr had also quoted People as saying that Kourtney Kardashian was having the time of her life with Justin Bieber in Miami.

“Kourtney is having a fun holiday weekend with her kids. She keeps enjoying the beach and the pool. She has been hanging out with friends, including Justin Bieber and Larsa Pippen.”

The sources have also confirmed that initially, Justin paid no attention to Kourtney, but later on, he invited her to his private table. “They weren’t together. At LIV he sat in a skybox. She sat in DJ booth,” the source stated. “At first Justin didn’t pay any attention to her, but after wishing David a happy birthday he went right down to her table and brought her up to a private table behind the DJ booth.”

Cracks in Selena Gomez’s relationship with Justin Bieber were also apparent from a cryptic message she posted on Instagram. Earlier that day, Justin Bieber’s mother had wished Selena a happy birthday. Selena wrote on her Instagram:

“Tonight I felt extremely unauthentic, unconnected to both my myself and my music. I’ve never really felt like my materials, wardrobe or a video could define me. I act on a moment and fear something that hasn’t happened. I’m stagnant, I stay still and don’t just sit with myself first and ask ‘is this where I am, whole heartedly?’ I’ve always told the truth. I’m always true to my word, I’ve shown who I am but I need to rethink some areas of my life creatively and personally. Had to get that out.”

The Inquisitr also quoted Hollywood Life as saying that Selena Gomez sees Kourtney as a threat “She sees Kourtney as a threat, but she and Justin have so much history between them,” the insider added. “Selena knows Justin will always pick her in the end.”
