‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Feels Hopeless, Dylan Spots A Juicy Meeting, And Mariah Struggles Over Her Feelings For Kevin

Thursday’s Young and the Restless spoilers detail that there will be a big focus on Chloe and Adam as Dylan continues the investigation into the identity of Victor’s mystery partner. What can everybody expect from the August 11 show?

Kevin was quite upset to see Dylan considering the idea that Chloe could be Victor’s partner, but then he did a bit of additional studying of the video footage of the two meeting himself. Young and the Restless spoilers via SheKnows Soaps indicate that as Kevin reviews the footage, Michael will show up at the station and pressure Paul to keep working on the investigation. He notes that Kevin could be a useful asset, but Paul says that the case is closed.

Chelsea will be celebrating Connor’s birthday during Thursday’s show, and Chloe is right by her side. Young and the Restless spoilers detail that Victor and Nikki will show up at the penthouse to honor the little guy’s big day, and Chelsea is quite upset to see her father-in-law there. Discussion about framing Adam comes up, and Chloe will listen from afar.

Nikki will be defending her husband, insisting that he had nothing to do with the case, and Young and Restless spoilers reveal that Victor tells Chelsea that he is Adam’s only hope. As Chloe joins the group, Victor will make a comment about how Chelsea doesn’t seem to realize who her real friends are, telling her that she will soon find out the hard way. After Victor and Nikki leave, Chloe will comfort Chelsea and tell her that she should take Connor to see Adam, even though Adam has said no previously.

As Adam writes a letter to his son, Dylan will show up to discuss the investigation. Young and the Restless spoilers note that they will both believe that the timing of Chloe’s reappearance in Genoa City is more than a coincidence, but Dylan notes that she has made it difficult to find proof that she is working with Victor. Adam had written a letter that he was going to get to Connor, but as the two men talk, he crumples it up.

Michael will also pay his client a visit, urging him to believe that they will find a solution. In addition, Michael notes that there are a lot of people fighting for him. Young and the Restless spoilers share that Adam will say he is glad about that, but prison is destroying him, and he needs more help in proving the connection between Victor and Chloe.

As the two men talk, Young and Restless spoilers detail that Michael will mention that his brother would be a great asset in the investigation, but that he’s still in love with his ex and that presents a problem. Adam notes that Kevin really needs to see the reality regarding his ex-wife for everybody’s sake. Chelsea does bring Connor to see Adam, and they spend some quality time together.

Dylan will bring up some questions with Kevin regarding Chloe and her possible connection to Victor, and Young and Restless spoilers tease that this will get Kevin rather riled up over this. Soon, Paul appears and is livid with his son for working on this case despite it being closed. Paul ends up suspending Dylan despite his son’s pleas that there is more yet to be uncovered in the case.

Mariah has been struggling with her feelings for Kevin now that he has been so intent on reuniting with his former wife, going so far as to keep flowers that he sent his ex. Young and the Restless spoilers from We Love Soaps detail that Mariah will open up to her mother and admit to Sharon what has been happening. While Mariah bristles at the idea that she wants to be with him romantically, she does admit to worrying about always being on the sidelines.

Soon, Mariah gets a call from Kevin, who is concerned because Chloe didn’t contact him after receiving the flowers. Mariah simply encourages him to play a bit harder to get, something that Sharon then encourages her daughter to do herself. Mariah may be hesitant to admit how strong her feelings are for her friend, and he’s rather oblivious to it, but Young and Restless spoilers note that there is more on the way on this front.

Young and the Restless spoilers note that Kevin and Michael will argue about Chloe’s possible involvement in Adam’s case, and Michael insists that he and Dylan are going to keep digging and uncover the truth. Teasers share that Nikki and Victor will discuss their visit to Chelsea’s penthouse and he will rant about Chloe living there.

Nikki will question Victor’s phrasing about being Adam’s only hope, but Victor gets a text and departs. Nikki will cross paths with Paul and learn of Dylan’s suspension, and she continues to insist that her husband had nothing to do with setting up Adam.

Victor heads to the park to meet with his secret partner and the discussion is a tense one. He pushes her once again to hand over the diary pages, wanting her to leave Genoa City, and Young and Restless spoilers reveal that Dylan will happen to see them together. He may have been suspended from the force, but he is not about to give up and this may well be the break he needed.

Will Paul listen to Dylan now and realize that Victor and Chloe were working together to set up Adam? Will Kevin and Chelsea come to terms with how they have been manipulated and misled? Is there a romantic future for Mariah with her best friend? Young and the Restless spoilers detail that things will get intense as the week wraps up, and viewers will not want to miss any of the action.
