‘Reality Steve’ Wrong About ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Engagements? Who Breaks Up, Who Gets Engaged In ‘Paradise’?

The Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 finale is just a few weeks away and fans are buzzing about who will leave Paradise engaged and who will leave the show single after spending the night in the Fantasy Suite.

Blogger Reality Steve is certain that the finale will end with two of the final five couples breaking up, but there is speculation that he is wrong about the relationship status of at least one couple.

Warning: Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 spoilers ahead.

Shortly before the Bachelor in Paradise premiere on August 2, Reality Steve released his episode-by-episode spoilers that revealed which contestants would arrive each week, who would go home at the weekly rose ceremonies, and the names of the 10 final contestants who would make it to the season finale paired off as couples.

ABC’s video preview (above) hints that there will be multiple engagements on the finale, but there is some confusion over who will be getting down on one knee, with speculation that producers may be hiding a big secret about Nick Viall’s relationship status.

The series was filmed over the course of 18 days in June at the Playa Escondida resort in Mexico — barely enough time for the couples to get to know each other, but, as fans have come to know, reality TV time is different than real life.

Steve’s spoilers point to 10 contestants who make it to the finale, with the popular blogger stating that he is confident that four couples spent the night in the Fantasy Suite, one couple split before the overnight dates, and three got engaged.

If the spoilers play out correctly, fans will see Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton, Grant Kemp and Lace Morris get engaged at the final rose ceremony. Although People reports that Carly was turned off by Evan’s kisses, Steve is confident that they end up together at the end of the show and that they are still engaged.

Wells Adams and Ashley Iaconetti are rumored to have made it to the finale only to part ways before the Fantasy Suite dates.

Here’s where things get tricky as far as the editing goes. The video clip above shows Nick Viall picking out a Neil Lane engagement ring — is he engaged as well?

Nick started out the season with his eye on Amanda Stanton until Josh “Steal Your Girl” Murray arrived on Week 2. Spoilers indicate that Nick’s new love interest will arrive on Week 3 — Jen Saviano from Ben’s season.

Although Reality Steve states that Nick and Jen spent the night in the Fantasy Suite during the season finale, he has confirmed that they break up before the rose ceremony. If that’s true, who is he picking out the ring for?

Fans won’t know if Nick Viall proposes to Jen Saviano until the Bachelor in Paradise season finale airs in September. Is it possible that producers are just misleading fans into thinking that Nick finally found the woman of his dreams on TV?

Creative editing is part of the show — after all, the previews for this season show Evan being rushed to the hospital and fans were certain that Chad gave him a beating. Chad exited the show on Week 2, so that’s just another example of how the previews aren’t always a sign of what’s to come.

Will fans see three couples get engaged on the season finale or will there be one additional engagement? Watch the episodes leading up to the September 5 Bachelor in Paradise finale on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
