Vicki Gunvalson Talks Phone Call To Brooks: ‘Enough Is Enough, Move On’

Vicki Gunvalson has stood her ground when it comes to the cancer accusations from last season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. Vicki was dating Brooks Ayers, a man who claimed to have cancer. Brooks kept talking about his cancer, possibly to get sympathy from Vicki’s friends, but it didn’t quite work. The more he talked, the more holes the ladies could find in his story. Meghan King Edmonds was dealing with a friend who had cancer last year, as Jimmy Edmonds’ ex-wife, LeAnn, was dying from cancer. And from what Meghan could see LeAnn going through, Brooks’ stories and experiences just didn’t match up.

According to a new Bravo report, Vicki Gunvalson is now revealing that she’s tired of talking about Brooks’ cancer. Gunvalson is convinced that he was indeed very sick, even though she never went to a doctor’s appointment with him. Gunvalson believed everything he was telling her and defended him even when there were red flags. This made her co-stars question how much she knew and whether she knew he was faking cancer. Even though Ayers isn’t on this season of the show, Vicki tried to call him so he could call David Beador to set the record straight.

“When I got into the limo, I decided to call Brooks in hopes that he would answer the phone. HE is the only one who can stop this madness about people saying that I lied for him and I told him on his voicemail to call David to settle this once and for all. It’s been over a year now since we broke up and I’m tired of talking about him. Seems to me some of these women want to keep this craziness going to put my character in question and I’m not going to let them any more. Enough is enough. Move on!! They will never know what I went through privately with him and I have no desire to discuss it anymore with any of them,” Vicki Gunvalson wrote on her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, saying that she’s done talking about the past.

Gunvalson has moved on from her relationship with Brooks, as she’s dating a new man. It’s clear that she wants to move on and forget the past. Vicki has revealed that she made mistakes, but lying about cancer isn’t one of them. She’s standing firm and claiming she did nothing wrong. It sounds like new housewife Kelly Dodd wants to give Vicki a chance, as they have become close friends.

“Kelly has turned out to be a real genuine friend and I care for her a lot. She has tried to reason with these ladies about moving on and not being so mean to me, however it doesn’t seem to be working so well but appreciate her effort,” Vicki Gunvalson reveals on her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County.

As for Ayers, he had a few chances to set the record straight last year, as he got several interview requests. In one of these interviews, he offered up forged medical records, which just fueled the argument that he was faking cancer. According to People, Brooks Ayers admitted that he has made mistakes during his life. He also added that he prides himself on being able to apologize when he’s wrong. However, he stands by the fact that he has cancer. He hints that he’s the victim in all of this, saying that he was made into a con man and a liar on the show.
