Selena Gomez Talks Justin Bieber Relationship, Posts Instagram Video Of ‘Cuddle Sesh’
Selena Gomez doesn’t like that her love life has overshadowed her career at times.
During a new interview with Vogue Australia, which was released as the 24-year-old singer began the Oceania leg of her “Revival World Tour,” which includes shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, Selena Gomez opened up about fan’s interest in her private life.
“For a while my private life was the most talked about thing,” Selena Gomez explained of her highly publicized romance with Bieber and rumored romances with other celebrities, according to a report by the Huffington Post on August 8.
In addition to her relationship with Bieber, which began in 2010, Selena Gomez has been linked to a number of famous faces, including singer Charlie Puth, One Direction’s Niall Horan, and actor Orlando Bloom.

Earlier this year, following a rendezvous in Beverly Hills with Bieber at the end of last year, in which the 22-year-old singer was seen serenading Gomez in the lobby at a hotel, Selena Gomez was spotted getting cozy with Bloom in a VIP booth at a nightclub in Las Vegas.
While photos of Selena Gomez and Bloom close together hit the web in May, Bloom remained in his relationship with Katy Perry, and eventually the buzz surrounding their potential romance died down.
“Nobody really knows everything and they can only assume,” Selena Gomez said of the speculation. “You want to do what you love but all this other stuff overshadows it so it makes it a little harder for people to take me seriously.”
As for her future boyfriend, Selena Gomez said, “I’d be so stoked with a writer or producer or actor who is low-key, but those kind of guys are terrified of me!”
On August 8, following the release of her Vogue Australia, Selena Gomez took to social media, where she posted a video of herself with someone whose face was not seen.
“Love my Elie. Everyday we do a little catchup/cuddle sesh,” Selena Gomez wrote in the caption of the Instagram video, which featured her lying on top of someone and giggling.

In other Selena Gomez news, Joe Jonas, formerly of the Jonas Brothers and now of DNCE, recently weighed in on their relationship, which is not strained due to her closeness with his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift, as some reports have claimed.
“I’ve known her (Gomez) for a long time. I’ve known her since she was really young and we’ve toured on and off and hung out for years so it’s cool to see, throughout the years, her success and how she’s continued to grow,” Jonas told AAP, via the Daily Mail.
Both Selena Gomez and Joe Jonas grew up with Disney and later became close when Jonas’ group, DNCE, began opening for the singer on her tour.
“I think we definitely can relate on that, there’s an unspoken Senior Year group of us that have gone through quite a bit. Whether good or bad we’ve lived through it and we’re still doing what we love so we kind of just tip our hats a little bit,” he continued. “It’s one of those things that you’ll always be cool with someone you’ve gone through so much with.”
Selena Gomez is headed for a show in Sydney tonight, August 9, followed by a concert in Brisbane on August 11. From there, she will travel to New Zealand before returning to North America.
