Black Hawk Crashes In Colorado; Two Dead

Denver, CO (AHN) – An Army chopper crashed on Wednesday while on a routine training exercise in Colorado, according to the U.S. military. There are two unconfirmed deaths.
The MH-60 Black Hawk was assigned to the Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) at Fort Campbell in Kentucky.
The special airborne unit, more commonly called Night Stalkers, are responsible for organizing and training Army special operations aviation forces worldwide.
A statement from the U.S. Army Special Operations Command at Fort Bragg said, “Recovery operations are ongoing.” Local reports say the aircraft crashed on Colorado’s second-highest peak, Mount Massive, and that two people died and another person was injured.
