Channing Tatum Plays Merman In Gender-Swapped ‘Splash’ Remake, Shares Rare Vacation Photos Of Wife And Daughter

Channing Tatum, the stripper-turned-movie star, will be seen as a merman in the remake of Splash, the 1984 fantasy movie which originally starred Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah. The original movie showed a young man falling in love with a mysterious mermaid who rescues him. According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the upcoming movie will be a reboot of the original movie except for one major difference: it will be a gender-swapped remake of Splash.

Channing Tatum will reprise the role that was originally played by Daryl Hannah, and actress Jillian Bell will take on the role of Tom Hank’s original character in Splash. The upcoming movie will give Channing Tatum plenty of opportunities to flex his muscles as a merman, and he may even have the opportunity to flaunt his dance skills.

In fact, the actor is so passionate about his dance skills that, according to Page Six, he was willing to use his dance skills to get his hands on an advance copy of Powerhouse, a book written by James Andrew Miller that tells the inside story of Hollywood’s Creative Artists Agency. Channing Tatum was so desperate to get an advance copy of the book that he offered to entertain the author’s agents with a striptease and a lap dance in exchange for the opportunity to buy an advance copy of the book.

It seems that the Magic Mike star was so eager to know the secrets behind the functioning of the influential agency that is responsible for managing the careers of Hollywood’s A-List celebrities, that he was willing to make use of his best assets to try to get what he wanted. Unfortunately, his attempts didn’t work, but there are many fans who would have loved to have seen Channing Tatum try anyway!

Channing Tatum’s previous experience as a male stripper has never affected his marriage with Jenna Dewan-Tatum. Channing and Jenna are, by all accounts, an adorable couple who never hesitate to publicly declare their affection for each other. The two celebrities seem to love posting sweet social messages about each other on their various social media accounts, and this was particularly evident when the couple celebrated their seventh marriage anniversary.

Channing Tatum started dating Jenna after they met on the set of Step Up in 2006. Their relationship blossomed quickly, and they were married in 2009. According to Brides, the celebrity couple posted nauseatingly cute pictures of themselves on their Instagram accounts to commemorate the romance that has continued to evolve and develop over the years.

Channing Tatum posted a photo of his wife silhouetted in early morning light, while Jenna also posted funny photos of herself and her husband. It seems that the Tatums are still basking in their honeymoon glory despite being the parents of Everly, the couple’s three-year-old daughter. According to Brides, Jenna Dewan-Tatum revealed that being conscious and balanced is the key to their happy marriage.

“I think it’s important to be conscious about giving everyone equal attention. I’ll think, ‘Okay, I’ve been with my daughter a lot, so Channing and I need a date night’.”

Even Channing Tatum holds the opinion that everyone within the family requires equal attention, and he is consciously aware of whether he has given quality time to both his wife and his daughter. The Magic Mike actor also tries to balance his professional commitments as much as possible so that he can devote time to relaxed family outings with his wife and daughter. Recently, Channing Tatum and his family enjoyed a beach vacation, and fans of the celebrity family were able to enjoy photos of their vacation as shared by Jenna on Snapchat.

While the couple usually avoids posting photos of Everly on the internet, they seemed to make an exception during this luxurious beach holiday and delighted in showing off photos of their fun-loving daughter. According to Self, the vacation photos are bound to make fans envious as they show the Tatum family having a time of their lives on the beach.

One of the vacation photos, in particular, shows Channing Tatum running along the beach with Everly, while other photos show Jenna sunbathing in a bikini on the beach.
