‘Days Of Our Lives’: Will Chad Play Dirty To Keep Thomas From Jennifer? Billy Flynn’s Character May Turn Into Stefano DiMera [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives fans are not liking Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) right now. At a time when she should be there for Chad DiMera, the recovering addict decided instead to sue him for custody of her grandson, Thomas. Billy Flynn’s character knows he has to do everything possible to keep his son. Does that include playing dirty? Could everything that has happened cause Chad to turn into his father, Stefano DiMera?

Last week on Days Of Our Lives, Jennifer tried to get Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove) to take her case. Even though he and Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) nearly killed Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), she wanted someone ruthless. However, Aiden refused to take Jennifer on as a client.

Jennifer has been busy running around Salem telling everyone she is trying to get custody of Thomas. She is also exaggerating and actually said Chad was neglecting his baby. She isn’t even stopping to consider what Chad is going through right now. Trying to find his missing and ill wife, Abigail, and then being hit with the news that she was dead. Billy Flynn’s character may be lashing out, but that is understandable considering the circumstances.

Last week on Days Of Our Lives, it was also revealed that Chad DiMera may have to do whatever it takes to keep his son. As he said this to himself, he looked at a photo of his deceased father, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). It was clear that he wasn’t thinking about playing fair. He could bring up how Jennifer hasn’t been off of prescription drugs for very long. His lawyer, Belle (Martha Madison) suggested they bring up the relapse statistics. It seems that as time goes on, Chad is getting fed up. Could he play dirty to keep Thomas and if so, how dirty will he get?

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, it seems possible that the news of Abigail’s death will cause Chad DiMera to go into a rage. A preview clip from NBC shows Billy Flynn’s character throwing things off of a table. Jennifer doesn’t seem to be backing down from the custody battle, so this will just add fuel to the fire. How low will Chad go in order to keep Thomas on Days Of Our Lives? Could he slip some prescription pills at her house so she is tempted to relapse? Would he crush some up and put it in her water and then demand a drug test so it appears that she is using again?

On Facebook, some fans are predicting that Jennifer Horton will start using again. She could do it on her own because she can’t deal with the pain of losing Abigail. When Jack Devereaux’s (Matthew Ashford) ghost came to visit her, Jennifer sent him away. She wanted to numb the pain, and the only way she knows how is by taking prescription painkillers. As the weeks go by, don’t be surprised if Jennifer relapses. If she doesn’t, then Chad will surely do something to make sure he wins custody of Thomas, even if he does have to use questionable methods to get it done.

The NBC soap opera will be on a break for two weeks due to the 2016 Olympics. New episodes of Days Of Our Lives will begin airing on August 22. Until then, all fans can do is speculate.
