‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis And Victor Team Up To Destroy Luca And To Stop Summer’s Wedding, Will It Work? [Spoilers]

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) could team up to defeat Luca Santori (Miles Gaston Villanueva) and prevent the smooth-talking stud from marrying Summer Newman (Hunter King).

The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Victor Newman didn’t waste any time getting back into the swing of things and stepping into the CEO position at Newman Enterprises after being released from prison. Soap Opera Digest reports that Luca pays Victor a visit and the conversation left a bad taste in Victor’s mouth. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but he got the feeling that the slimeball was planning something, and it could mean bad news for Newman Enterprises. As it turns out, Luca was planning something pretty big; he proposed to Summer, and his granddaughter accepted his marriage proposal.

“Luca has a confidence and he seems to know what Victor is going to need. Being as cocky as he is, he assumes he can fill that role and refuses to take no for an answer.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Victor suspects that Luca isn’t truthful with his real intentions and claims there are no openings at his company for Luca. He seems shocked by Victor’s shutdown and wonders why the billionaire businessman is turning him down.

Meanwhile, Phyllis learns that Summer and Luca are engaged. She smiles and congratulates her daughter, but inside she is suffering from a panic attack. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that she worries that Summer is in over her head with Luca, but is apprehensive about voicing her opinion.

“Phyllis, like Victor knows a negative response will get her nowhere. Showing upset will only push young, passionate, stubborn-minded Summer straight into Luca’s arms.”

Later, Phyllis is fuming at her office after learning about Summer’s marital plans. The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that she looks up and find Victor standing over her. She gasps and asks him what he wants with her now. For Phyllis, Victor has brought her so much pain and suffering that the mere sight of him puts her on edge.

“Victor’s presence cast a dark cloud, and in this case, he brought rain and calamity. Phyllis getting a visit from Victor is more than just a little bit surprising. It causes her to gasp and wonder what could have brought him into her orbit.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Victor will tell her he wants what she wants right now–Luca out of Summer’s life, for good. Phyllis considers the consequences of joining a partnership with Victor but decides that she may need him to “force” Luca out of Summer’s life, Soap Opera Spy reports.

“People, especially parents, can often overlook each other’s differences when joined together to accomplish a goal. I almost said ‘petty differences’ but there’s nothing petty about Phyllis and Victor. There are fireworks on the horizon–I can assure you that.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Summer isn’t willing to listen to her parents when they caution her against marrying Luca. She sings his praises and claims he’s a changed man. Luca seems to care deeply about Summer, but is it real? Does Luca really love Summer? Can their love conquer all?

The real question is, how will Phyllis deal with working so close to Victor, knowing their complicated history and the betrayal she still feels about Marco? One thing is for sure, Victor and Phyllis’ partnership is surprising and will be action-packed, as they put their differences aside to break up Summer and Luca.
