Margot Robbie Chemistry With Jared Leto Makes ‘Suicide Squad,’ Says Will Smith, And Pursuing Her Amateur Tattoo Artist Hobby

Margot Robbie, the Australian actress and producer, famously features in the new Suicide Squad movie as Harley Quinn, the psychopathic supervillain who is an accomplice of The Joker. Margo Robbie is just one superstar in a larger all-cast that includes Will Smith, Cara Delevingne, Karen Fukuhara, Joel Kinnaman, and Jarred Leto.

Margot Robbie and her other co-stars portray the notorious super-villains who receive clemency for their crimes in exchange for agreeing to help the U.S. Government to counteract an eminent danger.

Recently, Margot Robbie was in the news for her backlash against a writer who had criticized her home country in the Vanity Fair magazine cover story that was dedicated to her. Incidentally, in addition to Margot Robbie, the new movie also features Jai Courtney, another Australian who plays the role of Captain Boomerang.

Possibly the biggest star in Suicide Squad is Will Smith, and this will be the second film in which Margot Robbie will be working alongside the Men in Black actor. Earlier, the actress worked with Will in Focus, a 2015 American crime dark comedy movie.

Recently, the actors got together with the other co-stars to celebrate the new release of Suicide Squad at Cabanas at the Maritime restaurant in New York. According to the Mirror, the Suicide Squad actors cruised through the Manhattan area with zest and looked as deadly as their on-screen characters.

Margot showed off her toned abs in a skimpy outfit while making her way to the event. Surprisingly, although he is arguably the biggest star to feature in Suicide Squad, Will Smith feels that it is the on-screen chemistry between Margot Robbie and Jared Leto that makes the movie more thrilling. Jared Leto’s bone-chilling Joker will be teaming with Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn to form the demented duo who loves nothing more than to spread mayhem. According to the Daily Mail, Will Smith spoke about the duo’s chemistry becoming the major highlight in the movie.

“There is something absolutely magnetic about that relationship. It’s this weird superhero dysfunctional relationship… and it’s sexy.”

Apart from having an exciting on-screen chemistry with Jared Leto, Margot Robbie also got along beautifully with other co-stars like Cara Delevingne. According to Elle, the new Suicide Squad was responsible for strengthening the bond between Margot and Cara.

Their friendship blossomed to such an extent that Margot decided to try her amateur tattooing skills on Cara. Tattooing is Margot’s newest and favorite hobby, and several of her other Suicide Squad co-stars also lined up to get her designs inked on their skin.

Recently, Margot Robbie appeared on the Jimmy Fallon show and she claims to have inked almost 50 tattoos on her co-stars. Margot is so passionate about tattooing that she has also been trying her her at “toe-mojis,” tattoos inked at the bottom of the toes and which resemble little faces. According to Elle, Margot Robbie revealed the challenges of tattooing at the bottom of Cara’s toes on The Tonight Show.

“We did toe-mojis, we were calling them, where we’d tattoo the bottom of our toes with little faces. But the thing about tattooing the bottom of your toes is that it rubs off after a while, so we have to keep redoing them.”

Many people might perceive tattooing to be a painful experience, especially if it is done on an uncommon area of the body like the bottom of the toe. However, that did not deter Margot from tattooing toe-mojis on her friends. In Margot’s opinion, it is very easy to pursue the hobby of tattooing as the essential materials and equipment are easily available. In fact, the tattoo gun is easily available on eBay and it only requires the willingness of the hobbyist to progress with their hobby, and, of course, a friend willing to let her experiment on them!
