Conor McGregor Blasts WWE Wrestlers, Rips Brock Lesnar In ‘UFC 202’ Conference Call

Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz 2 is two weeks from today, and they had a UFC 202 conference call to promote the fight.

Eventually, Conor McGregor was quizzed on the possibility of appearing on WWE following the footsteps of UFC superstar Ronda Rousey.

Conor makes it clear he is not interested in anything that doesn’t involve fighting and lets his feeling be known about most of the WWE wrestlers, taking shots aimed specifically at Brock Lesnar.

“For the most part, those WWE guys are p**sies, to be honest,” McGregor said. “They’re messed up p**sies, if you ask me. Fair play to Brock [Lesnar], he got in and fought, but at the end of the day he was juiced up to the f**king eye balls, so how can I respect that? And then what’s the other guy? The other guy hasn’t fought yet, so I don’t know about him yet.”

The other guy is his referring to is CM Punk who is expected to take on Mickey Gall at UFC 203. CM Punk signed with the organization back in 2014 and has had many delays leading up to his debut, including injuries.

Conor McGregor does have respect for some of the WWE wrestlers and took his hat off for many he considers “dons” in the business.

“There’s some dons in that wrestling game,” McGregor said. “The McMahons, they’re dons. Triple H is a don. The Rock is a don. But the rest of them are p*ssies.”

Conor sees the WWE as more of show business in comparison to the UFC, which is the fight business.

Brock Lesnar made headlines after testing positive for the anti-estrogen agent clomiphene in two drug tests in relation to his UFC 200 win over Mark Hunt. Jon Jones also tested positive for the same drug, but was pulled out of competition.

WWE Brock Lesnar was reportedly tested multiple times leading up to his fight at UFC 200 and his positive test took many by surprise apart from Hunt, who suggested that Brock was using performance enhancing drugs before it was proven.

The Notorious is looking to avenge his loss against UFC veteran Nate Diaz. McGregor echoes Nate’s comments about being happy seeing him get media attention. Nate Diaz has appeared on Conan and Jimmy Kimmel where he took part in a funny skit in which he confronts Conor fans making predictions about the UFC 202 bout.

The UFC Featherweight Champion admits to underestimating Nate Diaz before their epic battle at UFC 196. He stated that he is sparring with longer and bigger fighters in preparation for his fight with Diaz.

“If I really look at it, he has a solid chin, he’s durable, very experienced, he has the size and the weight on me — I think that was the wrong thing to go and expect (the finish) in the first round,” McGregor said in the conference call.

Nate Diaz, who did not have a training camp for their first fight, is sticking to his regular training partners and gym that he claims is the best in the world.

Nate Diaz is also expected to bring in sparring partners to emulate Conor McGregor’s style.

The Notorious confirmed that he will grant Nate a rematch if he is victorious to complete the trilogy. However, it is likely that he will defend his belt against Jose Also before he has another fight with Nate.

Win or lose, Conor is likely to defend his Featherweight belt in his next bout.

In Conor McGregor style, he makes a bold prediction about their next contest. He believes that he will finish Diaz in the second round and believes Nate won’t make it to round three.
